Disappointed, disgusted, theifs

If it was clean and things not broke it would have been nice

Kitchen was absolutely filthy, floors were dirty with hairs all over. Kitchen tap hanging in by a thread. Photo evidence taken, complaints put forward and nothing done about it, checked in at 4:30 on NYE and checked out at 9am NYD. Waste of nearly £500. Disgusting customer service. Do not book!

Eden Grove

Good size rooms. Very quiet.

Low uncomfortable bed and lounge. No hair-dryer. No shower gel, soap, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen basics,e g. Tea, coffee, salt,pepper. Things you would expect in this price point. After we rang them the cleaner came with dishwasher liquid and hand gel but was quite rude.

I really liked the location and the surroundings of nature, silence, nature, neighbors, two showers, 2 toilets.

I didn’t like that it was very difficult to find an apartment, since we arrived there at night, it was dark, there was no one to ask, it took us an hour to find an apartment, so it’s better to come during daylight hours. The kitchen lacked some kitchen utensils, like a normal knife, like a drushlak, big pots. The WiFi booster didn't work in one of the rooms. The bottom board is broken in the kitchen. Cleaning is generally good, but if you look closely, there is a lot of dust and sometimes dirt.

The place was new & spotless. It was a very spacious flat & the parking situation was good.

The living area could have done with some extra furniture & furnishings. It was quote echoey & not too homely. A couple of the lamps didn't work which meant there was only a really harsh overhead light. There were no basic provisions (kitchen roll/foil) etc in the kitchen. The sofa bed was not the most comfortable. The arrival instructions were thorough but a bit overwhelming & the tone was very strict which was a bit off-putting.

Excellent property with highest standards finishing

Its a nice spacious apartment. My toddler loved it. Stairs were nicely carpeted and he was going up and down. Kitchen with all the essentials. Apartment furnished to highest standards !!! Excellent. BT Wifi superspeedy Lots of space to park Its close to nearly all lakes. Amazing drive. I will definetely re-book it. There is discount on re-book which is good.

toileteries would have been helpful if provided. too many forms to fill beforehand - not nice if you are busy prior to holidays

Good Stay

Very well furnished within the house with a modern and high tech feel, sofa bed provided which was of a good size, TV facilities were good. 3 bathrooms which were all clean, adequate amount of bedding and towels. Rooms were spacious and provides a hair dryer for each room which is great. WiFi is good, as the area in general doesn't have the best connectivity. Very comfy beds, and a good size. Overall a good stay. When speaking on the chat the hosts were quick and responsive.

Finishings on the decor included pictures which would easily come off the wall (not secured). Showers would go cold and hot unfortunately if more then 1 person was using another shower in the building. No facilities for high chair if travelling with a younger family. Basic amenities not present - no washing tablets, no can opener which worked (essential for self catering), no large bowls, not enough toilet paper for a family of 7 for 4 nights. No tea towels provided.

A really nice, spacious and newly decorated apartment in a nice setting.

The map that loaded onto my map-app automatically from Booking.com led us to completely the wrong direction, so we ended up along a forest track in the middle of nowhere. If you go, follow the directions sent by the property!!

Clean and spacious apartment close to Penrith.

Clean and spacious apartment. Friendly pub at the end of the drive. Great location for Penrith and Ullswater. The beds were very comfortable. Communication with the owners was excellent.

The apartment was a bit sparse. It would have been useful to have some coat pegs in the apartment's hallway.

Lovely location and development - but note, the development is not yet complete.

This development, when finished, will no doubt be absolutely lovely. It's very attractive and the village is also lovely. It's a secluded spot at the end of the village surrounded by fields and woodland. The accommodation (snagging aside) is new and tastefully done. The apartment we stayed in was a very good size, comfortable and well appointed. You're close to Penrith and Ullswater and there are walks right on the doorstep.

This development is brand new and not finished. Most of the units were unoccupied and still unfurnished. There are still properties to be built, adjacent to the one we stayed in. Before you book you might want to check that the builders aren't erecting a new house directly opposite yours! There was no work going on while we were there but it is clearly a work-in-progress. The accommodation itself was lovely although there are items of snagging (inevitable on a new property) that haven't, and should have been, attended to - Bathroom door would catch against the floor, one heated towel rail doesn't work, the showers are 'challenging' in terms of water pressure and heat, there is no proper cutlery. This may seem minor but the booking was not cheap and things like this should really have been dealt with.

Work in progress

Very clean, plenty of wardrobe space in the bedrooms, bathroom plus en-suite was ideal as mam could use one and me the other. On-site workman we're very helpful when we queried a couple of issues e.g. hot water only from bathroom taps etc. Apartments are very new and bound to have a few teething problems initially. Once these have been sorted it will be ideal if you're looking for a quiet holiday.

Lack of kitchen facilities so having a microwave was a waste of time. Bedding I.e.. pillows very uncomfortable. Description included toiletries but no complimentary shower gel in either bathrooms nor hand wash in one. This wouldn't have been a problem but because it stated there would be some we didn't bother bringing any for 3 days we stayed so had to go and get some. Also, water in the bathroom/en suite taps kept running hot whichever way they were turned

Very good property and we enjoyed our stay with kids only problem was lot of insects and 2 days later that started creating bit frustration with everyone. Otherwise outstanding place for short stay very comfortable

Apt 6 is within a Period character building with contemporary conversion. Everything brand new & immaculate

Apartment 6 So new it felt lacking homely touches & nowhere to hang coats or clothes no coat hooks &no coat hangers in the wardrobe . A lovely apartment but missed having outside space the ground floor properties have terraces. There is a bath but no taps fitted ! A shower in the bath - so filled bath with shower . Harsh lighting needs more ambient lighting in kitchen diner & living room , which is v large . But immaculate new apartment .

Very enjoyable

Very comfortable, large rooms and everything new, clean and functioning. Was perfect for up to 10 people to socialise together. Pool table and outdoor seating with BBQ was a bonus

Location was good. Quiet and pleasant atmosphere.

1. Lots of insects, small flies and cobwebs in all rooms. Lounge not clean as expected. 2. One of the heated rail in the bathroom was not working. 3. The fridge in 3 Derwent Close was not working properly. Our fruits and milk got spoilt.

Absolutely loved the apartment. We were the very first to stay, as this is a brand new development. Give it another summer I could see the area flourishing to its full potential.

Nothing to dislike Location was lovely only downside there was no local amenities to buy essentials.
