Lovely location for a cosy stay.

Very small point but we didn't know we would have to open a couple of gates to get to the farm. We thought we had taken a wrong turn somewhere because we had to drive through a field of sheep. Maybe the instructions for picking up the keys could mention this.

Beautiful, Cozy cottage with the most stunning garden

Such an idyllic location, one of the most beautiful gardens I have seen. The cottage was so cozy and reminds me of Kate Winslet’s house in the film The Holiday. It was our first holiday with our 14 week old baby and I’m so glad we came here, a special memory for us

Found the cottage by using the Sat Nav. There was no signage for Low Nook. Take the small road signposted to St Cuthberts and follow the lane to the end

This was a lovely cottage in a stunning area. The cottage was very comfortable set in lovely farmland. It was very close to Hadrians Wall, Carlisle and the Lakes.

This was an incredible property situated in such a picturesque setting. The house was beautiful inside and out and Lorraine could not do enough to make our stay comfortable for me and my 92 year old father.

Beautiful cottage, amazing private garden with views. Cosy living room with wood burner. And a very friendly resident peacock and his pea hens!🦚😂 Owners are handy if any problems and are a lovely couple.

Location was beautiful and cottage very comfortable with lovely furnishings to suit the property. Lovely welcome from the hosts and good area for walking and visiting Hadrian's Wall.

Really enjoyable and relaxing break in a wonderful and interesting environment.

We were self catering. Location was off piste in beautiful surroundings for walking. Hosts were very inviting and helpful with an interesting history of their own. Peacocks and Guinea Fowl provided entertainment....when bribed with host's provided treats !!! Central to Hadrian's Wall in either direction with several amazing heritage sites and walks within easy reach. NB. Greenhead Hotel = excellent food, value and decor for lunch or early dinner.

Superb

The cottage, location with it's peace and tranquility ticked all of our boxes. The hosts Lorraine and Jamie were extremely welcoming with their free roaming 3 x peacocks plus guinea fowls adding a lovely touch to the visit. The addition of the supply of some goodies in the cottage was also a lovely touch. The location is suitable for visiting Hadrians wall plus the North Pennines coupled with the fact that it is only approximately a 25 minute drive into Carlisle.

From our perspective we would certainly look at visiting again in the future.

The property was spotless, we couldn’t fault the layout in any way, perfect for a weekend away. On arrival the host was there waiting to great us and appeared very approachable and friendly. Again when we left she was around to wish us a safe journey. We will definitely be returning.

We arrived a little late and unprepared, basics of coffee or tea would have been appreciated. However these are very uncertain times and we totally understand why we couldn’t have this luxury.
