The cottage was beautiful, it had exposed stone walls, beams and features which made it special. It had a fire to use, lots of great utensils and everything you need. The area was surrounded by countryside and animals including some little sheep on site. Outside had plants and little pots / old cow type milking pots for decoration on the grounds. The owners were brilliant and helpful at all times.

Really lovely cottage less than 2 miles outside Brampton. Had everything you need. Clean and comfy. Sheep in a pen across from the cottage were v entertaining. Plenty of parking to the front of the cottage and excellent wifi. Comfy sofas for a change - we stay in a lot of cottages and they are NEVER comfy - so that was nice. It was also much larger than we thought so would be perfect for a family of 4.
I have to mention the bed. It has seen better days and was very uncomfortable and small. Maybe just us - but might be time to update.

The location was beautiful - yes you can hear trains and if you're lucky seeing them too but it all added to our stay!
Wildlife and Bird overload - sooo many nests. But what did it for us, the Swiss Valais Black Faced Sheep - BEAUTIFUL and so cute!
The Shower was GREAT, loads of lovely HOT water, and excellent pressure, but let down by simply NOT draining properly - double lot of Buster Drain Unblocker bought and used, but STILL wouldn't drain! So be prepared to stand in your own shower water - this made it VERY slippery too!
