Lakes Guest Room Annexe

Self catering so breakfast not relevant. Location suitable for this trip.

I haven't come across this type of lock box before so it took a while to work out how to get into it. However, I did accidentally lose a couple of e-mails so there may have been something in them. While there wasn't a problem with ventilation during my visit, there's no way of getting a through draft. My laptop claimed it needed and ethernet cable, which I've never needed elsewhere.

It was a lovely convenient place to stay with easy access to the lake district. The annex was self contained as described, clean, comfortable and had everything you needed.

Everything was as expected.

The room is quite small for two people, especially with pets. The room is the garage not an annex or apartment as described, adjoining to the house with the internal door having no bolt on the apartment side and only lockable from the family home side. There is no window that opens and I struggle without fresh air and well ventilated spaces. Noise could be heard from the house , could hear someone walking around above us at 3am. The glass doors externally and internally could do with a blind or curtain for privacy and light. however if you don’t mind some noise and no window I suppose it is a good stay for the price for one night. We wouldn’t return sorry.
