Pleasant, well equipped and great location.

Great location to get to and visiting the North Lakes. The cottage had all the cooking equipment for self catering, even fresh milk for arrival. Very clean and well presented. Friendly, attentive and not intrusive Hosts.

A pleasant stay at a very reasonable price, in a good location.

Cottage was a good size, nice and modern with a homely feel. Everything was super clean; welcome pack with fresh milk was a nice touch after a long journey. Good location with private patio to relax after along day sightseeing. Simple problem regarding the iron was easily resolved. Would recommend to others.

Shower, although nice and hot, was not very powerful - could do with an upgrade? Would have liked more drawer space in the bedroom - maybe instead of dressing table 2 more glasses in the kitchen would have been appreciated

Satisfied our wish to be close to Penrith

Pleasant outlook over fields of sheep and lambs.

We don’t like duvet bedcovers but this is something we accept that we have to live with.

Exceptional

Buttercup Cottage was a very clean comfortable cottage with really good facilities. It was in a excellent location for exploring Cumbria.

The only thing missing was a washing machine. As we were staying a week it would have been really handy to have one.
