Beautiful scenery, very relaxing, peaceful, . You definitely need a car as there’s no public transport and taxis can get

Great location for us. The property had everything we needed. Very well thought out. An excellent conversion from previous farming use. Very clean and fresh. Owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Easy car parking. Own entrance to the property on the ground floor. We would definitely want to stay there again.

Excellent accommodation

Really friendly owners, very convenient location, well equipped and spotlessly clean.

We found it odd that there was no washing up liquid, dishcloth or tea towels provided but the owners did inform us beforehand. There is considerable road noise from the motorway which might be off putting for some guests but we knew the location and accepted this.

Lovely people, charming cottage, great stay

Hosts were really friendly and very welcoming. They went the extra mile to help with directions and local advise. Toilet and refurb of the barn was modern and homely. Was a very clean. Great stay will come back

It was hard to critique the stay however the shower and toilet sink were slow to drain. If we were there for longer I would wonder how we wash our clothes as no washing machine.

We had a chilled few days break in the lakes and the cottage was a lovely place to stay in.

The cottage was lovely. Cosy and warm. Very clean. In a good location. Only 5 minutes from Penrith.

Unfortunately there is only one 2 seater settee. We felt it was small and uncomfortable.

Very relaxing/peaceful. No issues.

Stylish, neat and tidy. Good area nice isolated location. Great views. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. always happy to help. The cottage was very clean and well presented on arrival.

Prefer the toilet door to be lockable but this is more personal preference than necessity. We would choose washing machine over a dishwasher due to hikes/lakes activities laundry is probably more important to us as dishes can be done in the sink, again, this is personal preference and not a criticism.

Would stay again

The cottage is fantastic for a solo trip or a couple. The shower cubicle was great - larger than a standard one so perfect for tall people. The parking is really good and in nice weather the outside space is a great bonus to enjoy a drink or meal outside.

My only comment would be about the location in proximity to the Junction 41 (ever so slight traffic noise but nothing major) otherwise a wonderful place to stay

We would book again,very handy location.

Cottage was self catering near fram land but really quiet which was ideal for us to do as we wanted . Only very short drive from the motorway and 4 miles from main town of Penrith for anything we required. It was a good central location for the surrounding Lake District .

Ideally a washing machine would have been handy,rather than there being a dishwasher ,since we were staying for a week.
