Close to Perfect—Just Add Curtains and the Bees!!

We absolutely loved the infinity pool overlooking the sea near Dhermi—easily the star of the show. Poolside service? Spot on. Breakfast? Quite good. And the staff? Exceptionally helpful (the kind you secretly wish you could take home). The hotel itself sits high on a hill, and the views from up there are nothing short of stunning. Honestly, we were thrilled we didn’t stay down by the beach—too humid, too crowded, and way too many people competing for the same patch of sand.

We couldn’t quite figure out why the room didn’t have blackout curtains—seems like such a simple win. A couple of bottles of mineral water in the room would’ve been a nice touch too, especially for a place that’s otherwise top-notch. It would also be great if the hotel offered a little perk, like a discount on at least one dinner. Breakfast was good… aside from the bees, who clearly thought they were paying guests. And while the rooms were comfortable, just a bit more space would’ve made them perfect.

‘Delux double room’ was a let down with the ‘balcony’ opening out onto a concrete wall covered in pipe work. Half the rooms are in a separate building across the road which didn’t feel like part of the hotel and you have to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get to (not ideal in the heat). Breakfast was a bit chaotic if you came down after 9am (even though it should have been from 8-10am) and lots of the items were cold or under stocked and with warm orange juice.

An amazing experience – peaceful, well-kept, with dreamy views and outstanding service. Highly recommended

We stayed for three nights at Hotel Amare, near Dhermi in Albania, and had an exceptional experience. The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking – a stunning panorama of the mountains and sea. The hotel staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Every request was met with a smile and prompt service. Julian, the hotel manager, was especially kind and helpful. He made sure we felt comfortable, assisted us with anything we needed, and even helped us arrange a wonderful beach tour from Dhermi. The pool was very clean and well-maintained, and the view from it was incredible – we didn’t want to leave! Since the hotel is located on a hillside, there are some uphill walks, but the hotel offers convenient buggy rides to and from the rooms, which made it easy.

The shower in the room was open, with no curtain or door, which was slightly inconvenient, but manageable. Additionally, we had a minor clog in the bathroom that was resolved quickly and efficiently by the staff.

Amazing hotel with a beautiful Infinity pool. The hotel is situated in a beautiful place- feels like south of France, when you take the road to reach it . All brand new with very beautiful Standards. Our dream vacation at hotel Amare

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Hotel Amare in Palasë exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident — everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel felt fresh and welcoming. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal was a highlight, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. But what truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high standards of service, comfort, and charm. Hotel Amare has become one of my absolute favorite places in Palasë. A hidden gem I can’t wait to return to. Highly, highly recommended!

The view was stunning, the staff were very friendly, everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The air conditioning was silent and effective, breakfast was fresh and delicious, the pool was clean and relaxing, and there was plenty of convenient parking. Last but not least - really family friendly and welcoming to kids.

Honestly, nothing to complain about—we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Zu einem guten Hotel gehört mehr als nur ein "Instagramable" Pool

Aussicht über die Küste, schöner Infinity Pool, schöne Poolanlage, Zimmer mit Balkon

- Ausstattung im Zimmer war mangelhaft und teilweise defekt (kaputter Mülleimer, lockere Handtuchstange, loser Türgriff, kaputter Türrahmen, amateurhafte Malerarbeiten, kaputte Kleiderbügel, etc.) - Kein Duschvorhang oder Duschwand, daher wird beim Duschen jedesmal das Bad unter Wasser gesetzt - Frühstück lieblos mit Tiefkühl-Aufbackware, teils präsentiert in Tupperware - dauernde Musikbeschallung (beim Frühstück, am Pool) - Zimmerpreis wurde nicht zum Original-Wechselkurs abgerechnet, sodass wir 20€ zu viel bezahlt haben; auf Reklamation wurde trotz mehrfahrer Nachfrage nicht eingegangen - Preis für diese Zimmergröße und im Vergleich mit ähnlichen Hotels in Albanien deutlich zu teuer

Perfekte Hochzeitsreise! Wir kommen wieder.

Besonders gut hat uns die familiäre Atmosphäre, das leckere Frühstück und die unglaubliche Aussicht auf das Meer von der Terrasse und aus dem infinity Pool gefallen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend!

Frühstück, Ausstattung, generelles Professionalität sind okay, aber kein beworbenes "Luxus-Erlebnis". Unangenehmer Geruch im Bad und beim Duschen ist eine Überschwemmung unvermeidbar. Recht abgelegen vom Meer. Deren Kind durfte abends ungestört auf den Tischen im Essbereich herumturnen. Statt die wie bei der Buchung genannten 600€ mussten wir 626€ (in Lek) zahlen.

La piscine à débordement est superbe.

Tous les déchets à l'arrière de l'hôtel, notamment lorsque l'on se penche depuis la piscine et que l'on regarde vers le bas. La peinture qui craquelle dans la chambre. Le pommeau de douche qui nous reste dans les mains. Le petit déjeuner qui manque de produits frais et "faits maison" et qui est composé de nombreuses viennoiseries industrielles.

Calme, confort et personnel aux petits soins

Notre séjour a été tout simplement excellent ! L’hôtel est calme, le cadre sublime et la vue absolument exceptionnelle. Le personnel a été d’une grande gentillesse et toujours aux petits soins. Ils nous ont même aidés à plusieurs reprises en nous conduisant en ville, ce qui a été très appréciable étant donné que l’hôtel est un peu excentré. Le restaurant de l’hôtel et le petit-déjeuner étaient également très bons et de qualité. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de ce séjour et recommandons vivement cet établissement.

Super séjour dans un endroit très accueillant et confortable.

Magnifique endroit et de qualité. La vue, le personnel, le petit déjeuner tout était parfait. La suite avec le jacuzzi privé était vraiment super, un vrai atout une fois la piscine fermée. Par ailleurs ambiance chaleureuse avec un personnel très aimable.

La vue, le calme

Pas de coffre dans les chambres, pas de verre ni étagère dans la salle de bain ,pas de bouteille d’eau, 4 cintres en métal, bref pas du tout à la hauteur d’un hôtel 5 étoiles ! De plus nos enfants étaient dans un bâtiment et nous dans l’autre avec 90 marches de distance …

El personal contratado fue agradable en todo momento.

Limpieza mediocre, la habitación estuvo sucio y de hecho encontramos hasta las lentillas del anterior cliente. La familia compartía las zonas públicas con los huéspedes. Dice tener 5 estrellas de Booking y en el resto de plataformas 3. La cama era realmente incómoda.

Een paradijselijk verblijf met een droomuitzicht, uitmuntende service en pure rust.

Schitterend hotel waar de foto’s niets verbloemen – dit is de hemel op aarde. De infinity pool met uitzicht op zee is gewoonweg adembenemend. Kamers zijn stijlvol, kraaknet en worden dagelijks perfect onderhouden. Het ontbijt is niet extreem uitgebreid, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er, vers en verzorgd. Wat dit hotel echt uniek maakt, is het personeel: stuk voor stuk mensen met een warm hart die er alles aan doen om je verblijf zorgeloos en ontspannen te maken. Ook het restaurant is top – heerlijk gegeten. Aanrader? Absoluut. Hier kom je volledig tot rust.

C'est un petit paradis un peu à l'écart de la côte . La piscine à débordement est super agréable . Le personnel est attentionné et sympathique.

Kein 5 Sterne Hotel - Enttäuschend

Der Pool und die Sonnenliegen.

Das Hotel hat definitiv keine 5 Sterne. Der Pool ist toll, der Rest war für uns ziemlich enttäuschend, da es wirklich nicht günstig war. Wir hatten das Deluxe Doppelzimmer. Badezimmer: - Abfluss der Dusche hat nicht funktioniert - Kleine Duschbrause kaputt - Minimum an Toilettenartikel (2 Seifen und 2 Shampoo, erwarte ich mir bei 5 Sterne) - Spiegellicht im Bad defekt - Sehr kleines Badezimmer, keine Ablagefläche Schlafzimmer: - 160cm Bett, kein 180cm Doppelbett - Möbel wirken billig, teilweise nicht fest montiert (Anleitung und Werkzeug in Schublade gefunden) - Ausblick von der Terrasse auf eine Betonwand - Keine Wasserflaschen im Zimmer, kein Glas im Zimmer, keine Minibar, nur ein leerer Kühlschrank (erwarte mir mehr bei 5 Sternen) - TV vorhanden jedoch kein TV Anschluss (nur über Wlan) - Nicht schallisoliert, man hört die anderen Gäste - Relativ weiter Weg/viele Stufen bis zum Pool/Frühstück für ältere Personen schwierig Generell: - Mini Frühstücksbuffet, es wird nur langsam nachgefüllt, wenn neue Gäste kommen. (Kein oder sehr wenig Saft, keine Nutella, nur eine Sorte Marmelade und Honig, Toastbrot und Crossiants, Rührei und Würstchen, Käse und Schinken, Cornflakes, einziges Obst war Melone.) Zudem waren ziemlich viele Wespen dort (hier müsste eine Lösung gefunden werden). Für 5 Sterne erwarte ich mir mehr. - Das Hotel ist meiner Meinung nach noch nicht fertig, teilweise Baustelle und Baustellenfahrzeuge, nicht fertig asphaltiert. - In der Umgebung liegt viel Müll und andere unfertige Baustellen sind in der Nähe Lage: - Auto ist ein Muss, wussten wir aber schon vorher - 10 Autominuten zum Strand / Restaurants Preis Leistung stimmt nicht.

Het zwembad dat is netjes en met fijne zit en lig plekken.

Kwaliteit eten en voorzieningen slecht ten opzichte van de prijs. Ze willen graag maar snappen niet hoe je service levert maar als je er naar vraagt doen ze het meestal wel.

Belle endroit avec une vue impressionnante. La montée en voiture pour s'y rendre n'est par contre pas facile.

Perfekt!

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Amare in Palasë war großartig! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, und Julian, der Hotelmanager, hat sich persönlich darum gekümmert, dass es uns an nichts fehlt. So ein aufmerksamer und engagierter Gastgeber ist wirklich selten! Das Hotel ist modern, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Ausblick von unserem Zimmer war einfach atemberaubend – genau das Richtige zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück war lecker und es gab eine gute Auswahl, die keine Wünsche offenließ. Auch das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit, was die angenehme Atmosphäre noch verstärkt hat. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Parkplätze sind direkt an der Unterkunft vorhanden, was die Anreise und den Aufenthalt sehr entspannt gemacht hat. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit sofort wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Außergewöhnlich!

Wir waren bei der Buchung unsicher, da es auf booking.com bisher keine Bewertungen gab. Am Ende hatten wir es aber trotzdem gebucht und wurden voll belohnt! Dieses Hotel wird perfekt geführt! Die Sauberkeit ist hervorragend und die Grünanlagen um das Hotel herum sind liebevoll und mit viel Aufmerksamkeit angelegt. Die Küche ist hervorragend und alle Speisen werden mit viel Liebe und frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Der Pool ist schön angelegt und wird permanent sauber gehalten. Die Liegemöglichkeiten am Pool sind sehr bequem und man hat eine tolle Aussicht auf das Meer und die vorgelagerten griechischen Inseln. Am Pool kann man sich leckere Drinks aus der Hotelbar schmecken lassen. Alle Mitarbeiter in diesem Hotel sind super freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten viele gute Gespräche mit den Mitarbeitern und somit viel über diese Gegend erfahren. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt und falls doch, so wurden vom Hotelmanager Julian alle Hebel in Bewegung gesetzt, dass wir es bekommen. Vielen Dank, dass wir hier ein paar Tage verbringen durften :-)
