Magical

Koh Yao Noi is very beautiful and Sunrise House is in a very calm part of the island, with an amazing sandy beach (be aware of very low tide), near a small village with nice places to eat at walking distance. The staff was amazing and helped us booking a beautiful private tour of the nearby islands. They rent us bikes to go all around the islands and they arranged the ferry and car transportation (we arrived via Phuket and left via Krabi). Very nice breakfast and also the little restaurant, basically on the beach, was great. Plus, beautiful yoga shala with drop in yoga classes just few minutes walk away. Amazing experience.

Everything very nice. The sea (beautiful beach and dawn) is not for swimming, so if you want some more turquoise water book a longtail boat and arrange some trip.

Excellent value and a great vibe

Excellent value for money: The stay felt well worth the price. Wonderful Atmosphere: We loved the outdoor seating area of our bungalow; it was a perfect spot to relax. Convenience & Services: The hotel makes everything easy by offering motorbike rentals, day trip bookings, and organized transport (taxi + boat) to your next destination. Perfect Location: While we originally planned to explore the island, the vibe here was so peaceful and relaxed that we ended up staying at the hotel the entire time. Dining Options: There are several restaurants and cafes nearby (including one open late), so we always had great variety for our meals.

Room Privacy: Staff entered to clean the room without being asked. It would be very helpful if the hotel provided "Do Not Disturb" signs for the doors. Water Pricing: A large bottle of water at the hotel restaurant costs 50 THB. Since water is an essential, I would expect the hotel to provide a more affordable option for its guests. Beachfront Maintenance: The beachfront area could use some upkeep. There were some broken chairs, and the trees need grooming as some of the large leaves are currently blocking the beautiful ocean view.

Relaxing and beautiful place

The place was pleasantly isolated (although beach and restaurants were nearby) and had its own restaurant, beach, and pool area. There were even masseuses available on the property. It was peaceful and quiet, with calm and respectful guests. Breakfast was good, offering different types of eggs on toast or muesli with fruit, waffles, juice, and coffee. Shampoo and shower gel were provided in the room. The host was really kind and friendly :)

We stayed there twice, and in one of the rooms the power socket did not hold the iPhone charger properly and it kept falling out, so we had to improvise a small support underneath. There were puppies running and barking around, which may be annoying for some.

We loved our stay at sunrise house! The vibe of the hotel is so nice, right in front of the beach, they have great massage in the hotel as well. Very comfortable room and bed. And the sunrise is a plus for those who like to get up early! Breakfast is delicious!! We can’t wait to come back.

Lovely bungalow on the beach.

Friendly and kind staff. Quiet and gentle vibe. The bed was a wonderful size and very comfortable! Facing pool, surrounded by lush nature and a partial sea view! Simple breakfast, eggs, fruit, coffee and pastries. Excellent massage on the beach. Bikes to rent close by and some decent restaurants.

Bathroom is a wet room that has a damp smell as no window to air.

Beautiful location just by the sea. Clean, spacious bungalows.

The amenities like sunbathing chairs, or hammocks were quite worn out. The bungalows surroundings was also a little cluttered with unused/old equipment which influenced the sea view. But apart from that, very nice place!

Perfect location and excellent massage

The location was perfect, in front of the beach, room was spacious and comfortable, there was a nice green area that we and the baby good profit between the bungalow and the beach. Best beach in the island. Restaurant was a bit overpriced but best that we tried around the island. The massage was amazing, very good masseurs.

It is a pit to have continental breakfast (although it was the same in Phuket and Khao Sok) a local option would really be nice, specially since they are great cookers. Scooter that we rented was always going down if not accelerating, not super safe/convenient. Some trash left overs seen in the garden area not massive but there was some. The island itself it’s not gorgeous but this place is the best location you can get around the island.

Breakfast was very good. Access to massage and mani/pedi on the beach was excellent! And the view is stunning! You can also rent scooters.

I wish the beach was swimmable. Not something the hotel can fix but the beach is situated on mud flats.

Relaxed and beautiful place, loved our stay and want to come back one day. Was a great bonus seeing so many Honrbills. They let us hire mopeds and were very chill about it

Nice views, but would not stay again.

We liked the seaview, the pool and the kind people, they brought us some bananas on the first day, really sweet. The hornbills in the trees, the nice cats. Easy to rent a scooter. The cost beach bar restaurant with great waffles! Good wifi.

Cleanliness is a major issue in this hotel. Roach droppings everywhere in the room, and on the first night, we had 2 in the room, 1 escaped and they actually climb upon you if they don't find good elsewhere, so I slept horribly. The next day we got another room, but with quite some effort, the first offered had a very wet balcony floor that dripped towards the door, we had to push a little for another room, unpleasant. The beds are quite hard, but with an extra towel underneath the leg/glutes it was OK. They hardly speak any English, what make s communicating difficult, especially if something is the matter. Most important: the sea here is even at high tide unswimmable. Very shallow, with a lot of sharp debris and dead coral. So the view is very beautiful, but not being able to swim a bummer. No cleaning inbetween, no new towels. Overall: cosy, nice view upon Phang Nga Bay, but would never stay again because of the above..

Amazing location and hosts

Super kind hosts, here to make sure you have a great stay and with a lot of attention. Location is perfect, it feels like having a private beach with a little bar next to it, and yet less than 5 min drive to the nice restaurants nearby. Really convenient to rent scooters too and organize boat trips. The pool is relaxing.

The standard room might be a bit rustic but still a very good value for money.

A paradise in Thailand.

Everything here is amazing. Location at the beach. Large garden area with hammocks and tables with a tree cover that keeps is cool. The place is green and still clean and very few bugs compared to many other spots nearby. The cafe is lovely. You can doze off in the hammocks, or stare at the beautiful scenery, or walk in the damp sand and connect to yourself. I initially came for a week and ended up staying almost a month. I felt so well during my stay. The family and staff who ran it always smiled and even gave me cut fruit from their garden. Oh and you can get kayak and cycles from them.

Good location for quiet island life. Good restaurants and convenience store nearby. Easy access to pier and tour activities. The staff were great people and helpful in every way making our stay very enjoyable. Hope to stay again some day.

the family who welcomes us is really friendly and nice. the view is amazing, the bungalows are in front of the sea. The swimming pool is nice.

The bungalows are really dirty and old. The ceiling is not renovated and it´s getting rotten. when we arrived the bathroom was not clean at all and ants are everywhere. The mat smells bad. Gueckos come inside your room. But they were renovating some bungalows during our stay.

Right on the water. We walked out on the mud flats to check out the crabs, etc. at sunrise. We also saw the pied hornbill eating from a tree right on the property. Gorgeous birds!

The host was so nice and generous ! The bungalow is very simple, not much furniture but fair enough for the price, a good bed, hot water and AC was all we need. No breakfast or dinner proposed for now, but there is a great café at a few meters from the hotel.

Sunrise House voelt als thuiskomen.

Een heerlijke rustige locatie op het vriendelijke en authentieke eiland Koh Yao Noi. De hartelijkheid van Ying maakt het nog gezelliger. Lekker eten op het strand met uitzicht op de rotsen die uit de zee omhoog rijzen. Heerlijk zwembad om in af te koelen als er eb is. Koffie bij het ChaBa Café. Wij komen volgend jaar zeker terug op 'ons' eiland.

Schöne Lage, Preis ok für die nicht ganz gut isolierten Zimmer. Personal liebevoll

Die Lage am Meer, ist traumhaft. Mit den Gezeiten muss man halt leider klar kommen. Das Personal, die Frauen waren alle enorm hilfsbereit und nett. Erfüllen dir alles was in ihrer Möglichkeit steht.

Der Pool war sehr schlecht gewartet, in unseren 14 Tage als wir dort waren, habe ich der Mann der wohl zuständig war nur 2 mal gesehen. aus diesem Grund sind wir fast nicht ehr rein Gegengen . Die Bungalow wurden zum teil nur 2 Nächte gebucht und dann kamen schon wieder neue Touristen. Unser Zimmer war am Pool und leider so enorm ringhörig du hast den Nachbar schnarchen gehört. Wir haben uns damit abgefunden, da sonst alles passte.
