There was much confusion as the people answering the phone at "Booking.com" thought there was a box with the code, but in reality we had to walk to a nearby hotel to collect them.

I would have been grateful if they told us that the outdoor jacuzzi was for share and not attached to one of the property. I would have loved to enjoy that.

Lovely clean and well renovated apartment, with great, quiet location for exploring Aberystwyth. The flat was warm, has parking and has access to a lovely little garden at the front. Good WiFi available throughout.

The bed was very uncomfortable, duvet cover the wrong size for the duvet itself; mattresses were very old and uneven; the base of the bed was the wrong size for the mattresses on the top. Two single mattresses pushed together, although listed as a "large double". The listing states there is a washing machine in the apartment, but there is not. The hot tub was in a horrendous state of disrepair, and clearly needs an overhaul including a new lid. The guest information in the folder was not relevant to the flat, seemed to relate to the hotel around the corner. Parking spaces would benefit from being numbered for each apartment. Checking in was challenging as no information was sent in advance. Keys have to be collected from the hotel - it would have been useful to know this in advance of arrival. TV remote was not functional as no cover and a battery missing.

We had no instruction as to how to get the key and no contact details. We arrived at 10pm and couldn’t access the property until 11pm We were worried we had been scammed as there was no instructions and no contact mobile number and the number given had an answerphone. Very stressful!!!! Thought we would have to sleep in our vehicle for the night!

Lovely flat. Good location.

Key collection difficult. Had to phone Cottages. com who told us to phone hosts. Host very short on phone asking us to pick keys up from local restaurant but never gave directions. When we arrived we had to phone again to get directions for key pick up. No hand towels/ tea towels when we arrived, but sorted. Sheet too small for bed. Quilt cover too big for quilt.
