Lovely spacious and well appointed apartment overlooking the sea

We were upgraded to the sea front apartment in Grosvenor House. It was huge - 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beautiful view and oodles of space. The only issue was we couldn't change the temperature of the downstairs shower, and you have to park on street - spaces are hard to find on a Saturday, but the loading bay directly outside the property is available after 5pm and all day Sunday. In the evenings the starlings gather at the pier, and the lounge windows gave us a perfect view of the murmuration!

We couldn't work out how to control the temperature of the flat - there was a thermostat but not way of changing the timing of the heating - it was rather hot and stuffy!

Heating stopped working sometime during the night and we had no hot water. Unfortunately due to departure time and having a train to catch we were just leaving when someone came to sort it out.

Perfect property, perfect location, just perfect!

The property was lovely. Really comfortable, everything you could need for a weekend away, so nice I could happily live there!! Wonderful for a family going away together! The location is perfect, so close to everything in Aber, you can walk everywhere you would need or want to go to! Perfect! Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Surprisingly wonderful!

We were a family of four. The apartment was fabulously renovated and very well appointed. So many beds on each bedroom. We were spoilt for choice. It was warm and cosy and perfect all round. Only a few steps from the friend we were visiting.

This is just an observation and not a complaint…. It would be good to have more bowls, for soup or cereals, more forks and generally more and better quality dinning cutlery as we did dine in some days. A few more smaller water glasses would be useful too. I would have liked a much larger frying pan and preferably not a nonstick one which can scratch and then leak nasty chemicals into the food. A large size sauce pan would have been helpful too. There was a large lid… but the large saucepan was missing. We managed. And the apartment was just adorable. Warm, cosy, and a great base to explore. From Aberystwyth, we visited, Chester, Machynlleth, Dolgellau, Portmeirion and of course Aberystwyth.

Excellent Apartment

A lovely apartment. Extremely spacious and well equipped. Ideal for the one night we stayed or a more extended stay. The bedrooms were also very spacious with comfortable beds. Obviously very well cared for and maintained. Off street parking as well. Very nice.

Be prepared not too sleep

Staff were great at the main hotel very accommodating, free parking was handy and in a great location

room wasn't clean and beds are terrible, it's single beds together not doubles as advertised. With mattress springs sticking through.

Perfect, our first time staying in Aberystwyth and we were very glad we picked here to stay

Location was good next to beach and shops, its spacious and the balcony was massive! which was a suprise unless i missed it in the pics

Only fault we had was we found the hot tub and wanted to use it but the area was locked, the code we had been given didnt work and it was covered up with no instructions on what to do

Advertised as a 3 bedroom apartment. It has only 2 bedrooms. Advertised as having hot tub. The hot tub did not exist

We really like these apartments and have used them several times however not the larger one which we used this time

The one bedroom door handle kept sticking so frightened my 90 year old aunt as she thought she was going to be locked in her room therefore she left her door slightly ajar - we did report this. To our horror a very gross dirty pair of mens underpants were found by the chest of drawers in the bedroom with the en-suite this was very abhorrent and distasteful, obviously the room had not been checked properly before our arrival - most unusual for this establishment

We didn't get to stay in this property we got a call two hours before check in to say that the apartment we booked was no longer available and that they had to relocate us to a hotel three story large style town house we was on the top floor no lift and a toddler pushchair in tow no suitable at tall won't book with this provider again.

Lovely spacious apartment right in the centre of Aberystwyth. It was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils you could need. I need to clarify the issue of the 3rd bedroom raised in other reviews; Yes, it’s up a flight of stairs but these are within the apartment. There is a door from the main landing into the apartment, the stairs to the 3rd bedroom are then in the little foyer area to the left and the door to the main apartment is infront of you. There’s no way you could miss the 3rd bedroom unless you are blind and we’re given both keys when we checked in. The door from the main landing does not lock, but the doors to bedroom 3 and the main apartment do, so perhaps not a suitable room for young children on their own with parents in the main apartment. My son is 13 and was very happy up there in his own space. The beds are huge and extremely comfortable; bedroom 1 has a super king size bed and a single, bedroom 2 a super king size and bedroom 3 a superking size. The hot tub was a lovely bonus (when we remembered we had use of one!) and it is only overlooked by the windows of your own apartment.

Staff were fine, not rude at all, but not particularly attentive either. Just gave me the keys and that was it. The door from the landing really should be lockable and should also be a fire door.

Unhelpful staff, scoulding hot shower in 30°C heat, broken appliances, mouldy bathroom and bedroom cupboard, broken, limescale filled kettle, wasting 7 hours, across 2 days of my holiday waiting for a plumber to show up who never did

a lovely property but not three bedrooms

This was advertised as a three bedroom apartment but only had two bedrooms meaning two of us had to share a room. On returning the keys at checkout we queried this and were told there was an additional bedroom on another floor of the building (not within the apartment) but we needed to ask for the key. It felt like this was deliberately withheld- this should not be advertised as three bedrooms.
