Heol Madog

Very central house. Parking could be an issue on the street during busier months, but we didn't have any issues. Very clean. Bed super comfy. Very nice house.

Either side of Heol Madog there were dogs that barked day and night. Luckily our dog wasn't bothered, but some people might not have dogs and this would likely be annoying.

Nightmare evenings of boredom

Nice property but took over 3 days to get a response that the tv was broken, it was lucky we were not locked out as nobody responds to numerous phone calls and messages on many platforms

Great stay in Porthmadog

Lovely house, very clean and plenty of space. Beds were comfortable, we both slept really well. Excellent location, just a short walk to the Ffestiniog Railway and to shops and restaurants. There was milk in the fridge and a pack of nice biscuits for us, nice touch and much appreciated after a long journey to get here. We would definitely stay here again.

The only slight negative was the constant barking of the dog next door. This was only an issue when we were sitting reading, we couldn't hear it with the TV on or when in bed.

A welcoming home from home...

The house was well appointed and in a really central location. The house was nicely decorated with thoughtful touches like dog biscuits and welcome treats. It made for a comfortable base to explore North Wales.

The house is showing a few signs of age, with a little damp and chalky walls in the kitchen. We had grandparents with us and the stairs were a struggle, as they are steep and narrow. Hair towels and a hair dryer would have been welcome additions.

Very comfortable stay!

I have never slept on such a comfortable mattress in all my life! That combined with being so close to the sea, we both slept amazingly. Property is in good distance from the town shops. Property owners provide some milk and biscuits as a welcome treat too! We noticed it is a dog friendly property and the town is also very dog friendly.

Nothing we did not like. Just a bit of advice for the street parking there are a decent amount of spaces around 4/5pm on weekdays but you may struggle on a weekend until 6/7pm. There is a car park one street over that is only £7.75 for 24 hours.

Great property in good location but difficult to report an issue

Nice property, well fitted out and comfortable. Good location if you want to be in town.

We had no hot water during our stay. We could not contact anyone out of hours to report this and as we were there over the weekend did not manage to speak to anyone until after we left on Monday, and then they said they would report it to their maintenance team but offered no apology. This is a criticism of the agency, and not necessarily the property owner.

Comfortable house in the centre of town ideal as a centre for our golf trip

Location , size and set up of the house was great

Had to use common sense to find the keys for the back door, of course we didn’t have any, and only found them on day 2.
