Brilliant apartment

This was a beautiful clean and cosy apartment. Had everything you need for your stay. It was in walking distance of everything. Couldn't fault it.

Very restful..

The location was fabulous, quiet , but very close to shops really good restaurants, and a couple of nice pubs. On site easy parking . Information provided by the host prior to arrival really helpful..

I have to agree with previous feedback, the seating in the lounge needs replacing, and there was at times a very strong musty damp smell in the cottage..

Christmas stay

The cottage was spotless, had everything you need, was warm and comfortable. Location was in a beautiful spot and walking distance to shops,eating places and beach. It was nice to have bits there like sauce, oil salt and pepper and toilet rolls etc and staying over christmas it was decorated really lovely. Would love to stay again, thank you

Decor tired. Black mould, bathroom needs urgent attention. Light switch in bathroom and main bedroom intermittent .

We had a nice weekend but unless furniture and damp changed we wouldn’t return.

The bedding was nice and bed comfy. Basics in the kitchen very good Towels Location

Bathroom - very damp no ventilation, flickering light Lounge - sofa very uncomfortable and very small for 4 adults (would recommend a corner sofa allowing space to sit and relax and watch TV without 1 person having to sit for hours on a dining chair) Back bedroom smelt so damp it turned my tummy Windows very old and loose fittings

The location was fabulous. The cottage was clean & well presented . We had everything we needed even essentials such as tea coffee toilet rolls towels etc were provided.

Excellent location. Questionable quality.

The location was excellent for what we wanted from our holiday. The information on places to eat from the hosts was spot on. The hosts had set the second bedroom up as we had requested. There was tea and coffee and basic condiments supplied.

There is a very pungent smell of dampness in the flat, particularly bad in the bathroom, which is dark as there is no window. The hot water was extremely hot, at dangerous temperatures, luckily my plumber brother in law was able to assist. The light flicks on and off before coming on properly, there was a light over the toilet but that soon ran out of charge. The tv had very basic channels and the picture kept breaking down. The chairs were also very uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. The main bedroom window was a security joke. Half a screw was holding the handle on, I was afraid it was going to come off in my hand when I opened it . The flat was basically tired and grubby, there was what looked like tea stains on a wall, the marks on the kitchen wall where the dishwasher is ill fitting . The bathroom was particularly grubby with the toilet roll holder being blacked in places with dust and dirt.

The towels were exceedingly tired and rough to the touch. The kettle lid was extremely hard to get on and off The pillows were so bad we had to purchase some to use while we were there - they were so limp it was ridiculous - they need to go in the skip The parking was awkward - skips and transit vans all parked in the same place -

ADVERTISED AS 5 STAR ACCOMODATION. WHAT YOU SEE IN PHOTOS IS NOT WHAT YOU GET.. THE PROPERTY NEEDS FULL REDECORATION, NEW WINDOWS ETC. OVEN ITEMS NEED REPLACING. NOT AS ADVERTISED ALTHOUGH VERY GOOD FEEDBACK GIVEN.

A lovely place to stay.

Great location next to the marina, with private car park. Easy walk into town and for steam railway with lots of interesting places to visit only a short drive away.

The slightest down side was occasional noise from the property upstairs, but it didn't spoil the stay.

Excellent accommodation clean well equipped comfortable, parking for 2 cars. Right on harbour front. Lovely walks close to high street lots of shops. Bars and restaurants. Thank you. I would go back again.

Well furnished, comfortable and delightful.

Location was perfect and great place from which to visit other nearby areas. Parking was included and the property was well equipped and extremely comfortable. The property is well maintained and to a great standard Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

Bathroom was at the other end of the property to the 2 bedrooms. Totally understand why though and the configuration of this historic place lends itself to same. First world observation only of course.

Ideal location for a trip to beautiful North Wales, a shame that there is a damp problem in what is otherwise a very swe

The location was excellent and the cottage was very quaint.

Unfortunately the property has a real problem with damp, leading to quite a lot of mould. It was on the ceilings, walls, curtains and blinds. The main damp problem was with the bathroom, a lot of mould including loose mould that did get on you in the shower, there was even a slug in the bathroom! There were dehumidifiers around so it is obviously a problem that is ongoing and I realise very difficult to deal with.

A lovely cottage in a great location. Comfy bed, and good kitchen facilities. So great to have off street parking too. Plenty of good food and things to do locally. All in all, this is a great cottage - we had a lovely stay.

We found the TV a little hard to navigate, some instructions might have helped. My husband also walked into the end screen of the shower in the bathroom a couple of times as it's a bit tight for room.

Very good choice of property if visiting this part of North Wales.

A really well located, quiet and comfortable property. Ideal for visiting Portmeirion, Snowdonia and Machynlleth's Centre for alternative technology. Would visit again.

Pleasant

The location was excellent. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped although the welcome email stated there would be foil, but what was left didn’t even line 1 baking tray.

Shower far too hot and unable to turn dial far enough to cool it down. Surface cleaned but was actually a bit dirty. Cobwebs, dirty drawer liners, dirty cutlery and utensils. Lounge needs another warm lamp instead of standing bright white lamp. Couch cushioning has gone so uncomfortable to sit on. Property very cold, especially the front bedroom.

Wharf House was fantastic , perfectly located right on the harbour . Was very clean and cozy and felt very homely relaxing after days out walking and exploring . One of the best holidays ever

Disappointing as we paid a premium price to stay over new year!

Location was very good. Handy to travel around. Close to the town and walks.

BT free view box wasn’t working, tv stuck on one channel. Neighbour did try to help but it wasn’t a quick fix. Needs an engineer or new box. under floor heating not working in the kitchen and bathroom. As we stayed over new year was pretty cold. Apartment wasn’t clean! Grease on the tiles behind the hob and beans in the plug hole! Also cobwebs on the light fitting in the living room. The bed was comfortable.
