Great location. Few minutes walk from high street. Tesco and Aldi 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive away. Spectacular view of the harbour from the balcony. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. It is a 2 floor apartment with the living room, kitchen, bathroom downstairs and the 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs. There is a night light in hallway which detects motion so is handy if you’re getting up during the night.
The mattress and pillows had some stains on them although the mattress protector and pillow cases were clean (we only noticed the stains after stripping the beds on day of departure). The stairs to the apartment are a bit steep which was no problem for us but might be a consideration for people with mobility issues. When we arrived, we noticed that one of the curtain rods was broken on the main bedroom window, which wasn’t too much of a problem as my wife had brought a couple of eye masks with her.

Location/view exceptional. I loved the property. It was clean, especially the bathroom. Loved the balcony.
The only let down was when I stripped the bed on the final morning, the pillows and mattress/mattress topper were badly stained, which was very disappointing. This isn't the fault of the cleaning staff, who did their job very well. These things really need addressing.

The views are amazing and it is so quiet
The managing agent Sykes cottages - I never want to book through them again. I tried phoning 3 different offices and couldn’t get a reply. I use booking.com all the time and there was no indication that Sykes were the agent - never again. I intend to write to the owner to tell him
