Beautiful harbour cottage.
Very well appointed cottage with everything we needed for our holiday. Very clean throughout. Comfortable beds and sofas. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful shower room. Convenient location and free parking close by.

fantastic location right on the harbour. plenty of space and well furnished. great value for money
the only negative I could say is that there is only one bathroom/toilet. when 4 blokes share a house for a week on a golf trip it would be good to have a second toilet!

Perfect family getaway. Fell in love with this area.
Location is perfect, a beautiful area and very dog friendly everywhere. We had a great stay. Very well equipped and lots of lovely little touches to make our stay comfortable.
The owners were really welcoming and accommodating but the Sykes Cottage office in Wales were not. Best to deal with the owners directly.

A delightful property, with touches of luxury and convenience.
The location is absolutely perfect. A short walk to amenities, town centre, station, etc. with free parking just outside. Well equipped kitchen, spacious accommodation. 2x large ovens are a blessing as is the games room. Easy access to out of town excursions. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would wholeheartedly recommend 1 Lombard St as a base for anyone visiting. (Family of 5)
A few niggles that affected us, but might not be an issue for others. No washing machine at the property, so either bring enough clothes or be prepared to spend some time in the local launderette. There is a single bathroom with a toilet, so a larger family/group might find this inconvenient when getting ready. There was a leaky gutter somewhere at the rear of the property, which was very loud on rainy nights.

Overpriced but great location
The location is the best thing about this property.
Although it listed as a dog friendly property there is no garden so you have to take your dog out each time they require. The refurbishment needs completing. The lounge and bathroom is nice but it felt grubby elsewhere (e.g. dusty; old carpet on stairs and landing; old broken blind in bunkbed bedroom). The front door didn’t feel secure (it’s basically half wood, half glass) and has a fairly large gap on the bottom left hand side. Also when you’re sat in the living room people walking past can see in. It could do with a curtain going across it for privacy. The layout wasn’t family friendly for those with small children, like ourselves. The layout is as follows: Ground floor: lounge/games area. First floor: kitchen, bathroom, bunk bed room. Second floor: 2 bedrooms. Having paid £740 for 5 nights we expected a higher standard.
