Nice room

We had a lovely stay, everything was easypeasy. Great location. The room was clean, very comfy bed, had a great sleep with no noise, even though it was a busy road outside, it didnt bother us at all.Lovely clean bathroom too!

Could do with a chair in the room, especially for someone that struggles with their back or hip as i do, it would help when getting shoes on or just to sit comfortably having a cuppa in the morning. Also, their was a nasty stain on the side of the bed, which was a bit off putting at first glance, hopefully it was just a coffee spill, but still not a pretty sight, i pulled the valance sheet down to cover it. Not enough milk, we only had 3 tiny milks which were plant based, between 3 of us, so we missed out on a coffee in the morning, not a huge complaint, more a constructive one. The room was great otherwise 👍

It was ok don’t think we would return if we were in the area

Location was great, just a short walk to the centre, free parking was fantastic, room was spacious, fridge was a bonus

Single glazing made for a very noisy night/early morning from traffic and people returning from pubs etc. It wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve stayed, marks and hairs on the sheets, hair bobble with attached hairs on shelf in bathroom, toilet bowl was filthy and plug hole area of sink was dirty

Very secure . Bed extremely comfy and pillow and duvet. Room cosy and warm and excellent central location. Later checkout would of been nice even an extra hour till 11am

It had a good location, particularly for Theatre Seven.

Seems to attract party bookings, one guest commented on how she wasn’t looking forward to climbing so many stairs when she was drunk later…. It’s very noisy - take earplugs even if you’re not a light sleeper. You can hear guests talking loudly in their rooms, doors slam loudly and you can hear everything going on in the street outside.

Not a very relaxing stay overall.

We liked the room the best room is room 5 as the other rooms you ear the busy traffic, it was a pleasant very clean room and the staff are helpful and pleasant too.

The blinds are'nt black out blinds, and there is a spot light what shines right through the window in the middle of the night, the motor on the fridge kept coming on like every 10 mins, the pub next door but 1 has live bands on and they have them in the big gazebo and we heared the band singing on the microphone with drums etc and was very loud and could'nt ear the television. So we had a nice stay but not a relaxing peacful stay, as nice as this is we won't be staying here again unless we really had no other choice, the price of the room is way to expensive for what it is, no more than say £60 a night and the owner is a nice guy but bear in mind your staying right next to a rockers band with live entertainment and on a regular basis. Would not reccomend if you wanted a peacful relaxing and a good night sleep as me and my husband barely slept because of the interference things what kept happening, the bathroom like is on a motion timer what kept going off and everytime you enter you are disturbing your other half as the light shines into the room. Also the bed isnt very comfortable either, mattress is was to firm. Also you can't check in no earlier than 3pm as the door is on a timer and won't work till bang on 3pm and you have to check out by 10am there is no lea way with checking in a bit early.

Close, comfortable bed, staff communication excellent. Great parking.

Really nice clean place big beds, nice linen . My only complaint would be the road noise which was pretty bad around pub closing time and in the morning.

Great Room for short stay in Shrewsbury

This is a fantastic hotel, really nice place and very well done. The coffee machine was super nice addition as well, plus the room was very spacious. The checkin process was super easy as well.

Car parking was not clear so I parked in wrong car park and nearly got a ticket but hey that was probably me being more lapse and not reading properly.

A venue with potential but changes are needed.

Room was nice. Check in was surprisingly simple.Close to town. Parking.

Strong smell of smoke in room. Pillows that were flat and lifeless. Doona was only cover so you were either too hot or cold all night. Band at function next door played till 11pm- way too loud to sleep. Other dj music after. Sound insulation is seriously needed.

Proximity to seven theatre secure car parking very comfy beds

Very noisy we were in 7 and street lights make the room far too light very dusty extract fan in bathroom no body wash or shampoo in shower and AC also very dusty and lots of cob webs on ceilings .

Shower clogged with hair and wouldn't drain. Had to clean it myself, pretty disgusting. 2 tiny milk, 2 tea bags not really enough. No towels initially although they did drop some off when we made them aware.

Good stay but could have been superb

Excellent entry instructions. Don’t try to get in before 15:00 as the code won’t work until then! Near town. Fridge and coffee machine. WiFi good. Comfortable and clean apart from shower

Cleaner had not done their job properly. Had to phone to get dirty laundry removed. Bin had not been emptied and no spare toilet roll. Had to find one in cleaner’s cupboard. Management go rid of laundry very quickly and apologised. Blinds need sorting. A chair would be handy. I did not get a reply when I asked about height restriction which worried me when I saw the entry video as I was in a high van. Luckily lots of room.

Avoid it like the plague

The shower

The carpets in the room was horrible. Never got a message about how to enter the property when I arrived so had to make a phone call. Had to call again as had no toilet paper, they didn’t answer so had to leave a message. We went to wedding came back and still no toilet paper. For the price we paid, it wasn’t cheap and stuff like that shouldn’t be happening. We had to try and find a late shop at 1am to buy our own toilet paper. Also very noisy as the window is above a main road.

Good location with good rooms.

Rooms 7 and 6 both clean rooms with kingsize comfortable bed. Large bathrooms. Full sized hairdryer very good. Fridge was a useful bonus. Location 5 mins walk from river 5-10 mins to high street. Castle and prison 15 mins walk away. Lots of pubs bars and restaurants in easy walking distance

Need black out blinds Chair and full length mirror would have been useful.
