Location

I needed somewhere where I could park my motorbike off road. The property was ideal for this and I was able to park well away from the road and out of sight. The apartment was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Access was very straight forward and it was really quiet so I had a great night's sleep. It's an easy walk into the centre if you want to find somewhere to have food or a drink. I would highly recommend this accomodation.

There is nothing at all that I can think of that could have improved my stay.

Location was good. Close to town centre.

Bathroom was on a different floor to main accommodation. Accommodation was A frame attic and kept banging head on ceiling. Guests in accommodation downstairs kept TV on quite loud til after midnight..

It was a perfect 1st experience of Shrewsbury and it was beautiful and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Thank you

The location was perfect for us, the attic is very cute and well laid out. The little extras were lovely and unexpected.

The beds were awful! The pull out sofa bed looked really comfy, but you could feel the whole metal frame through it. My son cried trying to sleep on it. The sofa was too soft to sleep on, so my son ended up in my side of the double and I took the pull out bed. Every time I moved I woke in pain. I was awake at 5am crying because of my back. My husband's side of the double felt like the mattress had collapsed on the edge. None of us slept well at all. The property looks clean, but the sheets felt greasy. This could be too much product being used on a quick wash? But they felt disgusting and dirty. They didn't smell fresh either on the double bed, although the pull out sheets smelt fresh.

Just be cautious that en-suite bathroom is on ground floor so if limited mobility , can be an issue using facilities during the night

The downstairs apartment’s tv can easily be heard upstairs so that made getting to sleep (and getting our baby to sleep) quite tricky. But this was a minor thing.

Pillows

The room is beautiful. Tastefully decorated. Tea, coffee, and biscuits/crisps and toiletries are available. Access and directions were easy to follow. There are plenty of streaming channels. 10-15 min walk to the town centre over a bridge and alongside the River Severn. It's stunning.

Unfortunately, it's not very soundproof. Other guests were above. I could hear footsteps evening/night and early morning, the shower, and TV, and they weren't partying. It was pretty hot, too. I didn't manage a full nights sleep.

Location, which is quiet in a residential spot, parking was easy too, facilities in the apartment are execellent, a fridge, plates and glasses if you want to eat and drink in.

Not much really, being picky maybe a bigger bathroom.

Being a larger person would have liked bigger towels and the toiletries were very small (but would be happy to bring my own)

Only thing was the curtains letting a lot of light in. With the big glass front which was great on the day, I think it would be great to have black out curtains for night time.

No food at the location which we knew when we booked.

It was a lovely place to stay but a bit of a walk into town when there are so many hotels we could have chosen. I went in the shower and sadly I found the shower door was barely on. It’s the little things that change your opinion of places doesn’t it. Also we were so lucky to have a hot weekend. There was one small window so it was so hot in the room. (No one’s fault)

It was really lovely, clean and had all of the necessities.

Great location lovely 10-15 min walk to town, room was really comfortable and spacious, lovely and clean, loved the fact there was hair straighteners as I had forgotten my own!

Bed and bedding not the comfiest but this is personal preference and wouldn’t stop us from staying again 🙂

The access instructions were clear and the room, at first glance, looked pleasant and clean. The welcome booklet and TV instructions were a thoughtful touch, the refreshments were appreciated, and the room was nicely decorated.

I had just performed at a wedding and was hoping for a restful night. The access instructions were clear and the room, at first glance, looked pleasant and clean. However, the experience quickly went downhill and became one of the most uncomfortable overnight stays I’ve had. Within 30 minutes of arriving, I began experiencing a severe allergic reaction — itchy, stinging eyes and general discomfort. I suffer from cat allergies, and this kind of reaction only ever happens when a cat has been present. Despite the room looking tidy, it was clearly not adequately cleaned to remove allergens. I had to wait for my partner to arrive with eye drops, and eventually found antihistamines buried in my bag to try and manage the reaction. It still took me hours to fall asleep because of the persistent itching and discomfort. To make matters worse, at 4:38 a.m., I was abruptly woken by extremely loud noise from guests or tenants entering the room above. I hadn’t been informed there was an upstairs room, and the noise was so intense it sounded like a herd of elephants had arrived. After barely falling asleep around midnight due to my allergic reaction, this disruption sealed the deal. We left the property by 5 a.m., having spent only nine uncomfortable hours there. I woke with red, puffy eyes — something that never happens unless I’ve been exposed to cat allergens. I was even considering leaving at 12:30 a.m. because of how bad the reaction was. It’s not just about being sensitive — this was a physical and completely preventable reaction that ruined my stay. The most frustrating part is the cost. I paid significantly more for this stay in Shrewsbury than I did for a recent booking in Sevenoaks, Kent — an area with higher pricing in general. That stay, in comparison, was far superior in quality and comfort. Given I was only in the property from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the value for money was shockingly poor. If you have pet allergies, do not stay here.

The room was spacious, modern and clean. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The property was really easy to find. We appreciated the fact that they offered toiletries, and a nice selection of tea and coffee. The location is great as it was only a 15 minute walk to town, which really really enjoyed as it was a beautiful day.

Lovely room, gorgeous decor. Shower room needs somewhere to keep toiletries …. On the floor is not great. Bed not very comfy, needs new pillows and the bedding didn’t feel nice on the skin. Sheet didn’t fit very well and came off on one side in the night. Didn’t realise there was a room upstairs until 2nd day so probably had the TV on too loud as next morning we suddenly realised when the guests upstairs got up at 6am! Could hear them in the shower etc…. Sound proofing needs attention really. Would be nice to have a couple of chairs to sit out and have a morning coffee. Overall it was a good stay
