Perfect in every way

Louise was an exceptional host, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very organised. There were so many extra special touches - home made cakes and biscuits, fruit and milk available to help yourself to, so many different teas and other drinks to choose from in the room, well appointed rooms and great shower and incredible breakfast choices including excellent vegetarian options.

Everything! As well as everything mentioned above, the location was perfect, an easy walk into town and free easy parking

Good central location, friendly host, excellent breakfast . The availability of home made sponge cakes in the dining room was particularly thoughtful. Also had small gift of box of chocolates in the room for Valentine's day. There was access to fresh milk in the downstairs fridge if required and the dining room was cosy and nicely decorated with lovely china . The room decor and bedding was also of a high standard.

Fabulous highly recommend you won't be disappointed

Great location for exploring Shrewsbury. We loved everything about the Anton b and b. Best we've stayed in. Louise was super friendly informative and definitely went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Bfast was fabulous with a wide variety of choice which was then freshly cooked and well presented. There were very nice freshly baked home made cakes free to help yourself in a common rpom available throughout the stay The bedroom was well equipped and the bed was very very comfy.

Very welcoming place to stay

Lovely place to stay. A warm welcome with homemade cakes and treats. The room was cosy and well stocked with items (tea, coffee, water, biscuits, extra pillows and blankets) Bathrobes in the room. The choice at breakfast was really good and catered to different dietary needs. A nice 15-20 min walk into the town centre and free parking outside. Would definitely return.

A fantastic guest house, just a short walk into Shrewsbury Town.

Louise was a fantastic hostess. Nothing was too much trouble. She was really welcoming and friendly, happy to tell of places to visit and what was where in the town. We were warmly welcomed into Louise's home. Anton guest house is very comfortable and super clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic host, amazing cook. Breakfast was fabulous, there was even delicious homemade cake left out for guests. Comfortable beds, everything you could need in the rooms. Excellent location, with plenty of street parking.

Fabulous Guest House

We stayed for 2 nights this week and have to say it was was fantastic in every aspect! The host Louise was lovely and so friendly. The room was very well equipped (literally everything you needed and more), comfy bed and spotlessly clean everywhere. Breakfast was excellent and so much choice, very well presented and quality ingredients used. Highly recommend booking here! Thank you

Fabulous - don't hesitate to book.

Such a warm welcome from Louise. She even had a selection of beautiful home-made cakes for us to enjoy with a cup of tea. The property is maintained to the highest standard and spotlessly clean. Our room was bright, well appointed, and had obviously recently been redecorated. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I couldn't recommend Anton Guest House highly enough if you're visiting Shrewsbury - and you should, because it's really lovely.

The only thing I didn't like was that our travel plans meant we could only stay for one night. We would have loved to stay longer..

Very convenient to town. Easily walkable. Plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast was excellent and website pictures don't do it justice in person. A work of art in presentation and taste.

The attention to detail given by the owner was outstanding. Everything had been considered from the quality of the tea to the serving of homemade cake on arrival, the linen on the bed and the quality of the hairdryer. Louise has thought of everything! The breakfast was probably one of the best we have ever had - absolutely delicious! We could not fault this place and owner Louise was so helpful and welcoming.

If you’re planning a trip to Shrewsbury, we highly recommend Anton House.

It had a lot of character. Amazing attention to detail - everything you might need for your stay was provided for ( including a cork screw!!). Breakfast was a real gourmet experience, excellent choice and well cooked - worthy of a 5 star hotel. Thank you to Louise and family for a memorable stay.

Fantastic beautifully well kept house, lovely room, lovely host, great breakfast, home made cake, Netflix, wi fi, great selection of teas and coffees, water, biscuits. Absolutely everything thought of. Only a short walk into Shrewsbury and it was a better decision than staying above a pub. Great nights sleep.

Welcoming and comfortable stay - would definitely stay again if ever in the area

Convenient location - although street parking I found a space close to the house. Handy to walk into town. A very friendly welcome with the offer of homemade cakes. Helpful information also given. My room was very comfy and clean with evident attention to detail and potential needs of guests. Very good choice for breakfast and well looked after.

Fabulous guest house

Tea and cake when we arrived. Really appreciated just having a face cloth with the fluffy towels. Also it was hot weather and we had a separate sheet which was particularly nice. Rooms were beautiful lovely comfortable beds. Sewing kit and emery board in the room. Breakfast choice was amazing. Catered well for our bikes. Love this guest house and will go back.

Great location easy to get to all attractions, Louise was a wonderful host.. Amazing breakfast, homemade cake in the dining room, plenty of tea and coffee in the bedrooms.. Couldn't have asked for a lovelier place to stay..

If you're a light sleeper, take earplugs nothing to do with the guest house but lots of traffic at night..

The guest house was lovely with lots of old characterful original features , Louise ,our host, was very friendly and welcoming with lots of helpful tips . The breakfast was excellent lots of produce to choose from as well ,pots of tea made with proper tea leaves none of the dust in a bag here thank goodness , thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anton , we will definitely return, as we are a frequent visitor to Shrewsbury, it’s a very short walk into the town centre , 15 mins give or take , perfect location.
