Friendly welcome on arrival. Lovely room on the second floor (we were in Room 5) with all you would need. Comfortable bed and good shower. Delicious cake on arrival and breakfast in the morning which was freshly made. Louise was friendly and helpful and we liked how she made time to chat to us. Parking on the street just outside the property was a bonus. All in all a lovely nights stay.

You are greeted with a small immaculate kept garden. We stayed in room number 2. The furniture is old but beautiful & fitting with the house. I found the bed to be very comfortable with good quality bedding. There was everything you could possibly need in the room, as Louise had thought of everything, from sewing kit to face wipes! The breakfast was exceptional.
There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

Good location, short walk from city centre. Hot breakfast was well cooked. Home baked cake a really nice extra. Good information from host and in rooms of surrounding area. In room extras were generously replenished.
Glimpsed double rooms which were larger than ours and had wardrobes so main problem was with our twin room and not the property itself.
Our room, 4, was very small with no wardrobe space. Would not be suitable for taller guests due to sloping ceilings. A twin bedded room with one bed uncomfortable and squeaking at any movement. May have been heard by neighbours as we could easily hear their snoring. Poor soundproofing between rooms, and from the trains which were very obvious whenever they passed by. Buffet options at breakfast were limited with toast always the last hot option served even if the only item requested.
