Pristine and stylish, with beautiful popular bars and restaurant downstairs. This is the blueprint of how to redo an old English pub/coaching inn. Retained its old feel whilst beautifully stylish in a slightly modern way. Staff were lovely and engaging. Breakfasts were very well done.

Excellent breakfast, one of the best I have had. Fabulous live singer and great bar service. A really buzzing yet sophisticated place.
Relatively late check in and early check out time - we get much better service in Asia from this perspective but overall just a small issue.

Room and decor lovely. Bed very comfortable.
Awful sleep due to traffic noise.
While out of proprietors control, loose manhole/grid on road rattled loudly every time a car drove over it. Even aside from this, traffic noise prevented sleep. Maybe backrooms would not have this issue and would have improved my rating.
While cooked breakfast excellent, continental limited particularity for >£17 - would have benefited from ?bread rolls, cheese, meats, tomatoes, cucumber etc.
