Great location
The rooms and ambience were very relaxing and the location is right in the centre of town very close to the NCP car park. Breakfast was decent and service was quick and cheerful.
The shower was poor. Weak pressure and difficult to regulate the heat. Electric showers are never the best.

Will book again
We have stayed here before. Lovely garden room and comfy bed. Tea , coffee, hot chocolate and water provided with biscuits . Breakfast was fresh and tasty with lots of choice, although it was an extra charge of £15pp
No parking but there was a car park around the corner @ £1.40 per hour from.8am to 6pm

Excellent and would stay again and again
The room and hotel decor, location, friendly colleagues, and general comfort are all excellent. Clean room, great selection of hot drinks in the room, nice shower and bathroom.
If I had to ne really picky....The mirror in room 19 is not adjustable for taller people.

Very friendly, very clean and well presented on first impressions. Tea/coffee hospitality tray very welcoming. Lovely soap/shower/moisturiser supplied in the bathroom.
Why put a dressing table/chair in front of a bathroom door? The noise tolerated from room above! Also felt like they were stamping around. Could hear everything. Getting back to tge room in the dark- sensor lights slow coming on. No overnight staff. Everyone dib dabbing in the same pots at breakfast. No option to stay in a tiny garden room to stay in the house. Palaver just to get hot water in the sink.

Feeling Tired
The staff, room itself, and location were lovely
There is a distinct lack of soundproofing, so having a groundfloor room made it impossible to sleep until the couple above had finished repeatedly arguing and banging around for hours. Had there been a manned reception, I would have asked to change rooms. As it was, we did go to sleep until those in the room above had run out of steam.
