Great place and close to everything but if you are staying in the mixed dorms do not leave your valuables out. The door is never locked and people are in and out of the room all day both travelers and cleaning staff. My expensive earbuds that were on my bed were stolen out of the room when I went for a hike. Make sure you lock your valuables up, most people are trustworthy but there’s always a chance.

Central location in a major tourist centre with historical significance for the city, the hostel is close to most attractions. Rooms that face the street also hear the life of the city all night.
My twin room was clean, spacious and light. The kitchen is a good social place though has inadequate facilities for the number of people who may actually want to cook/eat in - fridge space, cooking pans, etc. Showers are excellent. Wooden floors very creaky. Staff are warm, welcoming and helpful.

Ideal location. Handy for airport and all public transport. In the heart of the old town. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Right by the cable car.
