Shower quite small, curtain too long, hard to keep water from getting on floor.

Almost everything. Room service, kitchenete facilities, TV in room, cosy room & place. Did not meet staff this time but they were very efficient, e.g., sending me the codes several hours in advance of my arrival. Location close to Funchal city centre.
shower without the possibility of use hanging from the wall (one hand on shower, one hand on soap...) I know it is not compulsory but I got used to the cortesy paper towels you use to have in the kitchen (not this time, though). Hot water either does not exist or takes a long time to come up in the kitchen (I certainly did not get it after a few minutes of washing dishes).

Great staff, great location, all round fantastic stay. My flight was severely delayed but staff were highly accommodating and kind. The room was remarkable value for money too! Very hard to criticise the place. Ignore the majority of the bad reviews IMO.
Honestly no big deal but the bathroom paint was flaking and the doors to the rooms tended to slam which could be heard at night.

There was a dead cockroach in my room in the morning😭but I was checking out that morning and there was no one at 8:30AM so that I can tell them about the situation
