We kregen een upgrade, altijd leuk, naar een ontzettend ruime kamer met enorme badkamer. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. We kregen bericht dat het hotel in een drukke straat ligt, maar echt niets gehoord, zelf niet van een verbouwing tegenover het hotel.
Eigenlijk niets, het bad is wat verouderd en daardoor oogt het niet helemaal fris.

Cute and comfortable, very clean and good breakfast. Very helpful staff and centrally located.
It would have been nice to know that breakfast o ly starts at 8 when booking. We came for diving so had to leave early in the morning. Staff tried to accommodate but in the end it would have been easier not to book breakfast.

Central location
Large construction site 15feet away, 6 days a week, cockroach the size of 50p, couldn't check in time late afternoon, I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and can honestly say I wouldn't return, the old town has gone down in friendliness, not the same anymore, Funchal itself is absolutely magical, fantastic hotels along the coast would be more suitable, you get what you pay for,, fantastic overall stay,,
