Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, right next to the Mercado dos Lavradores in Funchal. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and having a kitchen and washing machine was really convenient. José was incredibly friendly and helpful, even welcoming us when we arrived after midnight. The property felt very secure, and we also loved having a balcony and air conditioning. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

There wasn’t really anything I didn’t like. If I had to suggest a few small improvements, having an iron and ironing board, shampoo in addition to the shower gel, and a full-length mirror would make the stay even better. It would also be nice to have refills for the bottled water and coffee if needed. These are only minor suggestions though - overall, we had a fantastic stay.

Room functional but size a bit too small

This apartment is right across the street from the main market which starts activities very early given the market includes a fish market with daily catches. Which is a positive aspect if you seek local vibes and downtown action. Not so good if you wish a quiet place to rest. That said, the apartment is well equipped and comfortable. It is located close to historic centre, with plenty of shops, restaurants and large grocery stores.

The street also includes a couple of bars and restaurants which could get noisy, especially in the high tourist season.
