The room, which contained a kitchen area with a fridge, opened out onto a balcony then onto a well maintained garden.
It has a lovely pool area. The whole complex is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
The downside is that it was quite a way up steep roads from Funchal

Nice property with wonderful views. Great staff, very clean.
15-20 minute walk to dinning and shopping. The roads down to the town center are very step, bring good comfortable shoes. The bus stop is close to the property, but at certain times of the day they don't run as often as I would have liked.
