PG Magic View - City Center

L’appartamento è molto accogliente e munito di tutto il necessario. Posizione molto comoda sia per spostarsi a piedi in centro, sia per raggiungere la fermata Pincetto del minimetró. La vista, davvero magica.

Niente. Faccio solo una nota, per persone con scarsa mobilità, che l’accesso all’appartamento avviene tramite una scala abbastanza stretta e un po’ ripida.

The most striking feature of this apartment is the unimpeded view of Perugia and the countryside beyond (see attached pictures of the view from the living room). The apartment is at a high point where you can see out but no one can see in. The apartment is clean, modern (good heating and cooling), and mostly well-equipped, with a good-sized kitchen. The bed was quite comfortable (though you might want to bring your own pillow). The apartment is right in the heart of the old city, which gives you wonderful access to sites and amenities, but also raises challenges. The location is quite noisy. The apartment has thick walls and double-paned windows, so you can close up and shut out most of the noise. We stayed for 9 nights and only had trouble sleeping once (when a live band set up right outside of the apartment). But if you are a light or sensitive sleeper, this would probably not be the place for you. The tourist information office is literally 3 doors away, so it is easy to get any information you need (they helped us to navigate public transportation). There is also an international bookstore close by with an excellent selection of English language books. Overall, we loved staying in this apartment; it was perfectly situated to enjoy the beauty and bounty of Perugia.

The internet in the apartment is workable but sluggish, and you have to go up/down a steep flight of stairs to get in and out (so beware if you have mobility issues).

The location was perfectly situated in town. Convenient to everything but not at all noisy. The apartment had all the amenities we needed to include a washer and an iron - much needed after hot days and crammed-full suitcases. The parking situation can be confusing but the parcheggio Saba Mercato Coperto on Via Augusta is a perferct location with a very short walk to the apartment. There’s a lift to get you to street level. The cost is a bit pricey but if you have heavy bags or can’t handle all the steps then this is worth it. Otherwise there’s a close parking lot at Via Ripa di Meana that is affordable and close by with a little hill then elevator and escalators.

The only down side is that the AAC doesn’t get the bedroom as cool as this American likes it. The unit works great in the living area where it’s located. Not a deal breaker and I would stay here again without hesitation.

Big one bedroom apartment located in the historic center of Perugia. Just 5 minutes walk to the famous fountain and cathedral and located next to the minimetro where you have less than 10 minutes to the main station. All facilities such as washing machine, dishwasher, plates and many other available. In addition a really magic view of the valley and mountains where you also see Assisi and Spello.

All great really.
