La Zarabba Boutique Hotel

The hotel was clean and the location was convenient. The property appears to be very dog friendly, with dog themed decorations throughout the hotel.

We specifically booked and paid for a room with a terrace through Booking. Upon arrival, we were given a room without a terrace and informed that no terrace rooms were available. We were then told that terrace rooms were more expensive, despite the fact that this was exactly the room category we had originally booked and paid for. The attitude of the staff was disappointing. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and trying to find a reasonable solution, they were dismissive and unhelpful. Fortunately, Booking customer service stepped in and refunded the difference, for which we are very grateful. However, this issue should have been resolved by the hotel itself, not by a third party. In addition, the hotel charged 60 EUR for our dog. Considering the room rate and the fact that the property presents itself as pet friendly, this fee felt excessive.

It’s 5 km by a car from Lago di Garde, and for me it’s calm place from my childhood- nature, space, fresh air, nice swimming pool in the middle of the nature, breakfast in the shade of the trees

For me a little bit strange that you should order coffee and fried eggs and wait until it’s prepared, available are only sweets and a little bit fruits.

- Pool area is only upside; and very calm for lago di garda area despite being very close to a road - Staff is friendly

- Hotel rooms are very basic, very artificial - Quality of breakfast was very unstable (sometimes good, sometimes very weird taste) - Drinks on the receipt that were not consumed - Hotel itself looks not very nice (no photos visible on booking; only pool and rooms are shown) - In my opinion, too expensive for what you get
