Comfortable stay with great pool
Excellent staff. We had two rooms and they accommodated my request to have the rooms together by upgrading one of the rooms! I also asked them to make a birthday cake and they made an excellent carrot cake. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves were nice. Very large size, good lighting, great WiFi throughout and comfortable beds. The upgraded room even had a hottub on the patio. Room cleaning was great too and everything seems clean and comfortable. The pool at Ziba is excellent. A big size for the number of people and we had no problems getting sunbeds. Breakfast is pretty good at Ziba. Fairly good variety and had everything we needed. Location is quiet and mostly convenient but main town centre is a 30 min walk away.
The showers! Hot water is a bit hit and miss. We needed to let the water run for a good 5 minutes before we consistently had a hot shower which was annoying for the first couple of days ebefore we worked that out. The hotel is also a bit basic for a 4 star but that seems to be a theme in the region.

- There was a construction on the roof, which was rather noisy during our kid’s afternoon nap. - The staircase to the pool is worn down (broken plastic on the side panel), quite dangerous with a kid.

Beautiful weather, stunning lake, beautiful country
The breakfast: good choice. Pool was lovely. Rooms were clean and of a good size.
It’s a 4 star hotel but in the bar they offer cocktails but we were told we couldn’t have one until 2pm from the cafe/bar by the pool. The staff made you feel like we were intruding on them when asking for anything. They were pushing sales of Lipo action in there spa! On the last day we were leaving at 7.15am which we had told them. There was no offer of having a breakfast made up for us. There wasn’t anyone in reception when we left either. I had to text them to say we left as our taxi was waiting. The response, they were checking the pool…at 7.00am. An unfortunate experience with the staff. I’ve never experienced this before in all my years of travelling.

Nice swimming pool, and big spacious rooms. Excellent shower too.
With the family room / suite, there is limited privacy. Whilst there is a door between the sofa bed and the main bedroom, you have to walk through the sofa room to get in / out and through the main room to get to the bathroom.

Worst aircon ever!
Aircon - terrible Breakfast - mediocre at best
Aircon was governed. Room was 29 degrees!!!! Worst in-room experience ever. Couldn’t even open windows to let a breeze in, due to masses of mosquitoes around the outside lighting near the window.
