"The location in a forest is very beautiful. Convenient to reach Kamikochi (Sawando parking is about 30 min car ride), Norikura, etc. The host was very attentive and flexible in accommodating our plans"

This is beautiful peaceful residence in a wonderful location. The hosts were generous and kind. The meals were prepared with such care and thought. We absolutely loved it. The Onsens both inside and outside were a wonderful sanctuary to sit quietly. Immaculately clean. Quiet while there, imagine it’s busier in snow season. Highly recommend - run by a young family.

⚫︎料理が本当に美味しい。 ⚫︎温泉の泉質が良い（ぬるっとした感触）。 ⚫︎温泉からの景色が良い。 ⚫︎テレビがなく家族と静かに過ごせた。 ⚫︎スタッフが親切（夫婦）。 ⚫︎掛け布団がふかふか。 ⚫︎古いけど綺麗。掃除がきちんとされている。
⚫︎14:45に到着して、呼鈴をならしたが出てきてくれなかった。15時過ぎて数分後に来た。 ⚫︎温泉がぬるめ。夏はいいかもしれないが...。 ⚫︎露天風呂に虫が浮いていた。でもこれは仕方ない。 ⚫︎リンス（男性風呂）がない。髭剃り、櫛がない。 ⚫︎浴衣のサイズ表記がないので、どの浴衣を使えばいいのか分からない。 ⚫︎お茶の水をくむのが大変（洗面所から遠い部屋だったから）。ポットがあると助かったなぁ。 ⚫︎部屋にカメムシが。4匹退治。本当はもっといたけど。 ⚫︎宿での精算と、booking.comから送られてくる内容が違う（追加料金の金額、入湯税、宿泊税）。 ⚫︎静かに歩くように努めましたが、スリッパだとどうしても床との相性が悪くなってしまいました。絨毯のところは大丈夫でした。

Very quiet location, excellent food and the onsen is a big plus for trekkers. The owner is very helpful with your requests
There is not much to do or see in this area, so I wouldn’t reccomend for a longer stay
