This is a very traditional styled Japanese hotel, we stayed in a very traditional room with all the modern amenities and view over the river. The onsen, while simple, was also a pleasure of a long day hiking. .
Without spending a fortune more, this place had nothing I didn’t like about it.

We had an amazing stay in our superior family room. Everything was clean and comfortable and an enjoyable and traditional Japanese experience.

Delicious food breakfast and dinner. Very clean rooms.
Booked this stay for an onsen experience and on this front it was disappointing - the wood was rotting on the walls in the indoor bath area, and outside was far from relaxing with the constant sounds of diesel generators going.
