The apartment was comfortable with a lovely view over the river. It was easy to walk to find restaurants for dinner and breakfast and an easy stop along the Nakasendo.
The apartment is on a main road so it is a bit loud, but earplugs solved that for us. The main road is a little dark at night.

The view was awesome!
The description of the accommodations was somewhat misleading. The 6 of us essentially all slept together in a single room. It would have been good to know that in advance.

The location was quite handy for walking the Nakasendo, and it was very clean and comfortable.
There was only one restaurant nearby and we were on a very busy highway with trucks driving past all night. It was hard to sleep. I would recommend using the ear plugs that the host kept in a tray in the apartment.
