The single room is in the attic upstairs, small but clean and sufficient. The bathroom is private for the guest, located just outside the room, and is clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly. The location is a bit far from the city center, but not excessively. Highly recommended.

The best part about the B&B was Joan! She was very pleasant and available. My room had 2 long doors with windows with a nice view of the outdoors, however there are mosquitos. The room & bathroom were small (normal for Europe) but nice. Location close to the Arno was a plus.

Very friendly hosts, breakfast was delicious! We loved looking out at the garden and we had a little terrace off our room, but it was just so hot when we were there we didn’t really get to enjoy it. We found the air conditioning in our room had a hard time keeping up, so they gave us a fan and that helped a lot. Bed was comfortable and there were always snacks in the main area. An important note, there are a lot of stairs, so if you need a handicapped accessible property this is not it, but it was very charming.

Was such a nice and refreshing stay on our final night in Italy. We were tired and hot. We arrived to a super friendly check in and a cool/relaxing room. The garden put the back was really relaxing and the breakfast was well done. It made a nice change from the usual hotel stays. I'd definitely return here.

The hotel was lovely and so convenient for walking into the centre of Florence. The WiFi was great and the gardens were gorgeous. The housekeeping/breakfast staff were wonderful and so kind.

Delightful establishment within walking distance of the city centre. Very friendly welcome and Joan was always very helpful and pleasant throughout the stay. Stayed in the single room which although small was very quiet and perfectly comfortable - having the whole upstairs mezzanine area to yourself gives you plenty of space. Kitchen/conservatory area was very clean and nicely decorated and having tea and coffee making facilities along with biscuits and cake available 24 hours a day was very welcome - always a good spread for breakfast as well! Whilst being in easy reach of the city centre, there are a number of excellent restaurants and bars nearby which are well worth checking out for a slightly less touristy experience. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it.

Property was well located, 15 min Walk from Ponte Vecchio and easily accesible by public transportation. Johanna was very nice and helpful, room was clean and had all necessary supplies. Bonus points because breakfast was very good. Recommended!

I wish we could have stayed longer! We arrived early and June was so accommodating with our bags and took the time to go over a map of where to go and how to get there. Drinks and snacks are always available and the breakfast was lovely. Book now!!

This was our favorite stay in all of Italy, a wonderful location, comfortable room, with super kind and generous staff and amenities. We would love to return again and highly recommend it to any travelers at all - with or without children. We were able to take the bus easily multiple times and walked to the city center many times as well. We always felt safe and fully enjoyed our time. Joan, who worked at La Fonderia was incredibly kind, willing to help with anything, and did a marvelous job with breakfast, recommendations, and other help as needed.

The hosts were lovely, friendly & helpful! Our room was clean but very, very small, as was our bathroom. It feels a little more like a rooming house or hostel. The common area is the kitchen & the door to your rooms entry, is essentially, in the kitchen. It’s very loud with guests coming in & out throughout the evening & chatting in the kitchen, early morning or late evening. They advertise that they have air conditioning but don’t make note that it’s not in use unless it’s summer or winter? The location is reasonably close to the cities attractions but starts to look a little grungy the closer you get to the B&B.
