An outstanding option for a trip to Florence!

Loved the design and how cool the hotel was - it was so different from other hotels in Florence. The personal touches were were lovely as was the customer service - we had a question a they answered within minutes.

The location was a bit out of the way - but that made it quiet and relaxing to come back to our hotel.

Great stay in Florence that is few minutes by bus !

The theme of the suit with jungle and luxury furniture, the breakfast which was served in the room. And of course stuff were friendly and helpful special thank to mode for his recommendations and guidance.

Great Location and Customer Care

The hosts were exceptionally knowledgeable about their loca area and offered many recommendations which we tried and all were fantastic (from food to museums to shopping and places to walk). The hotel is directly next to the Tram line which goes to the main Santa Maria Novella rail station and from the hotel most things are a 15-30 minute walk (if you're good on your feet). Room was lovely and clean and the balcony was a nice place to relax (we had the Cousteau room) and get some fresh air. We did not have the breakfast in our price but there are really reasonable breakfast places nearby (cafe Gamberini a 10 min walk away has sit in and take away) Before we got to the hotel when the booking was confirmed the hosts give a list of recommendations for food. Definitely book your evening meal restaurants because queues can be long for places! The hosts also sent a WhatsApp with pictures and directions to the hotel which are good help for finding it as it is within a block of flats. Drinks frindge available so can store own drinks but also the room ones were complimentary and topped up daily. Room had water and a kettel with tea and coffee too. (Only "downside" if you have long hair or thick hair then the hairdryer provided with the room will take a very long time to dry as not very powerful so would bring your own) Definitely recommend this hotel and if we return to Florence this is the place we will look to stay.

Exceptional B & B in the heart of Florence

Prior to our arriving in Italy, the owner, Veronica, was very reachable and answered all questions we had. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and ushered to the fabulous reception area, offered a drink where the team answered any and all questions. Federico pulled out a map and showed us all the highlights, where all the various sights were located in proximity to the hotel. He gave us a lot if information about area restaurants and cafes, we tried their favorites, and they became our favorites. The B & B is in great proximity to the train station and to downtown Florence. We were able to walk to everything. The B & B has an amazing Florence vibe, every room is different and so amazing. Our room, Humbolt room, had a separate living room from bedroom. The bathroom was large, separated from the actual bathroom. The magnificent details of our room did not go unnoticed, just spectacular. Next trip to Florence, we would stay here again and will recommend to everyone we know!

We loved everything about this B & B. Perhaps the only negative item (and it's not really a negative) was it's not accessible 24/7. Staff is on site from 8:00am - 8:00pm, but you can reach them if you have an issue.

Exquisite experience—can’t wait to be back!

This property was one of a kind—a true feast for the eyes! I have never stayed at a B&B with such incredible attention to interior details. Each room is unique, containing a custom selection of wallpaper, furniture, and fixtures. The bathrooms are relaxing & luxurious. We were kindly greeted by Federico, who marked up a map of the city with his personal recommendations—restaurants, bars, museums, plazas, etc. Our departure from the city was a bit later than our checkout, and the staff carefully stored our bags for a few hours until it was time to depart from Florence. The rooms came stocked with fresh bottled water (with additional waters in the hallways) and a mini bar in the fridge.

A stay to always remember

Let's start with the excellent communication before our landing from Giulio who was very patient to wait for us after working hours. GiuliA was amazing and very helpful as well both on giving us a nice inputs about the city. As well as preparing our royality amazing delicious breakfast in bed (daily). The theme of the hotel was extra ordinary and unique. Also, it was so sweet of them to celebrate our anniversary with a cake, as well as giving us daily complementary minibar contants (without alcohol as per our rquest) If you wish to have an extreme treatment then you must book with them. Thank you guys for your hospitality and great memories as well as the gift on the way out (Florance made bag)

The hotel is divine - so beautifully styled and the staff warm and knowledgeable and the epitome of good hospitality - we could have stayed in our beautiful room for weeks!

It's on the outskirts of the old town so could be a bit more central but it's a lovely walk along the River Arno to get into the historic centre.

Stunning place to stay with a friendly team

Absolutely stunning! We arrived late and were greeted and taken to the gorgeous reception floor and given a really helpful list of places to go and things to do. We were then taken to our room which was just beautiful. The decorations and furnishings are all amazing, super comfortable bed, stylish bathroom with lovely rainfall shower, complimentary drinks in the minibar… everything was above and beyond.The location was right beside a tram stop but everywhere is walkable and it’s only 5 minutes to a couple of lovely places for breakfast and then another couple minutes and you can walk along the river to the old town and to Ponte Vecchio. We are definitely planning to return.

the hotel interior was amazing and great attention to detail. My room was also beautiful and a mini bar of drinks (mainly soft drinks) complimentary with a big bottle of water daily and more provided in the hall if needed. The staff were so helpful, could not do enough even before the stay we had quick replies to our emails regarding what to see and where to eat etc. I will recommend this to my friends and be back soon

Beautiful and comfortable stay!

Everything was great but the interiors shall be the first on my compliment bullets. The place is beautiful and feels very homie! Breakfast is also very yummy (especially the croissants)! Federico is also super helpful with all his instructions from getting to the place to parking to recommendations around the city. Parking is only a minute walk away and very convenient. The place is located more on the edge of the city so it offers a more peaceful vibe but nevertheless it is only a short walk to the city center.

Beautifully decorated with an eye for detail. Great recommendations on places to go.

A faulty light switch meant a bedroom light and all in the bathroom were on all night. As a b and b no one there to contact on site when we realised (late on our first night). It was swiftly fixed the next day and we did get a part refund for one night but a completely sleepless night did intact the whole weekend.

Staying at Velona’s Luxury Suites was a unique experience. Nicely designed rooms full of character. Elegance and quality all over the place. Spacious room, amazing bathroom, comfortable bed, nice toiletries, tasty organic breakfast served in our room, extremely helpful staff that made you feel special. Tram just outside the door, otherwise 15-20 minutes walk to the historic centre. We stayed in a suite (Durell) with a balcony and we really enjoyed it, we will definitely come back!

Fabulous stay

Everything about this place was wonderful! Veronica and her staff's warm welcome and hospitality got us off to a great start on our stay here, including Veronica's excellent tips and recommendations for the city that she clearly loves. Our suite was very clean and comfortable with gorgeous hand painted wall murals and fun furniture, with a lovely view over the tower across the road. The location was excellent, being slightly out of the main tourist areas but still easily walkable to everything you want to see and visit. Highly recommend.

Just perfect!

Beautiful boutique hotel in great location. Away from city centre (~15mins) but we didn’t mind that at all! This was a great retreat from the chaos after a long day of walking. Room was equipped with mini bar and water is provided (which you never see!). Bathroom was gorgeous as well with nice rainfall shower. Umbrellas came in handy when we were there! Neighbourhood felt safe to walk around in and lots of restaurants around the area. Veronica, her husband and the entire staff were just absolutely wonderful! They provided a personal touch and helped make your stay in the city as perfect as possible. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location, Excellent Rooms and Amazing Staff

Rooms and the Staff are the best part of this Sray. Rooms are so well designed it feels like you are on a Holiday. Reception of this is also we'll designer it's just Beautiful. All the Staff are very Good and Helpful. Especially Benedatta she helped us to go around Firenze, she suggested us a very good restaurant which was very Close to the Hotel. Location of the Hotel is also very good its just next to the Tram Station.

We were charged 40 Euros for Late Checkin, I personally felt it was very high.

Gorgeous, clean, super comfortable design hotel with wonderful staff

Our stay at Velona’s Jungle Suites was faultless-from the moment we walked in we were in heaven. the staff were so friendly and helpful and the design of the hotel is incredible. We were blown away at the level of care and attention to detail. Our suite was beautiful with great amenities, thick fluffy towels, very comfortable bed, block out curtains and very quiet. All the recommendations for restaurants, shopping & things to visit were perfect. Thank you so much Moda, Benedetta and the rest of the team for making our first visit to Florence wonderful- we will definitely be back!
