We loved our stay in Palazzo Montebello! The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, the beds were super comfy! The staff was very helpful and polite. The location was great, just 15 minutes walk to the center of Florence, and you could walk by the river Arno to enjoy a view of the city. The breakfast was nice. The decoration of the lobby and the patio of the hotel was very eclectic. We would gladly return to this hotel on our next visit in Florence.

Beautiful location, a little bit away from the centre of the city but a walkable distance
The air conditioning unit didn’t work. I was on the courtyard floor and had to open my windows (which was technically a door) to get cool my room down. I asked reception about this and they told me that April was still considered as winter month (weird) so the unit would only work as a heater not a coolant.

Clean lovely helpful staff, great location and a fabulous balcony.
But poor design of the shower/bath. It floods the whole bathroom make sure u have lots of towels to mop up every day
Breakfast was poor I’d rather eat out.
When you pay for breakfast you expect hot food included the price not to have to pay for eggs etc …. Not enough choice. Poor bread cheep cold meats. I love my breakfast and I wouldn’t stay here again because of this.
Poor value for money on the breakfast side.Very disappointed.

I think this is a very good boutique hotel we could have enjoyed it if we had rooms as was indicated in booking. com
hotel was under renovation we were given old rooms in attic area,
for what we paid we were expecting better quality rooms,
I toured one room in main floor was very nicely done, unfortunately we had not been offered that type of room,
coziness of hotel staff are nice but limited with what us available to them
elevators was not functioning well
our kids refused to use it scared.
