Fabulous location near the Arno, woth excellent service by all staff.

My own first floor room also had a lovely balcony which provided a view of The Arno. I loved the hotel when I came ten years ago, and it lived up to my memories!

Best secret in Florence!

Hotel rooms and baths were nice and clean. Breakfast is a must do!!! Such a variety of different things to choose from. Best thing was the rooftop view during breakfast! Staff was wonderful as well. I will definitely go back to stay!!❤️

Only negative is the size of the elevator and only because we had a baby and stroller.

Lovely stay!

The staff were absolutely lovely! The manager surprised me with a sweet birthday card and offered us drinks to celebrate — such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. The breakfast was amazing as well, and the team there were so friendly and hospitable. They truly made our stay feel special!

Too short but excellent in all respects. I’d book again in a heartbeat.

The room was small but perfectly functional and comfortable. There were many design touches I appreciated. The windows could be opened, light switches were thoughtfully placed and actuated with authority. The heated towel racks were a really nice touch. The quality of the linens was excellent as was their turndown. Breakfast is available for 20 euro but, if you are a breakfast eater like I am, it was nice to have.

It’s about 1.5 km from central Florence. It’s an easy, flat walk along the shore of the Arno to get there. So, if you don’t mind walking, the location is a less pricey option than being in the center of Florence.

Beautiful stay in a great hotel.

Peaceful location, generous size of room, my room had a lovely juliet-style balcony. Excellent service from reception staff. Very nice rooftop pool and restaurant/bar, giving amazing views of the Florence skyline.

Breakfast is €20 per day if not included in your booking of the room. I think this is expensive.

Amazing hotel, with stunning roof terrace, great atmosphere and super friendly staff!

Amazing hotel! Staff so welcoming, roof top bar and restuarant a wonderful place to spend time with a great atmosphere. Roof top pool great even when cold outside. What a view from it all! The bar staff and restaurant staff so friendly, it really made our stay. Steak Florentine amazing! Also clocked my birthday with no prompting with 2 free drinks. Walk into Florence along the river was perfect - didn't feel too far out.

Our room was a little small, maybe better to book direct? Also the fan didn't work in the bathrooma and reported it but didn't get fixed during our stay.

A classy place to stay and relax.

The room was very spacious with a marble bathroom and a balcony which had the sun all afternoon until the sun set, a perfect time of the day to unwind and enjoy a few glasses of wine. Although the rooftop pool was a great place to catch the sunset after a swim in the heated pool. The restaurant and bar also on the roof has an extended patio area which was great in the mornings to have breakfast overlooking Florence while the sun shone on all the famous landmarks. Dinner in the restaurant was very good with a great team, also the breakfast was very good too. All in all a great place to stay in Florence, a quiet area near the river and about a ten minute walk to the centre.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Florence

Fabulous views from the roof terrace, lovely to have a cocktail watching the sunset or the moon over the landmarks of the city. Enjoyed the heated roof top pool. Very comfortable beds, lovely room and balcony. Quiet at night as it's off the main road. Helpful friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and return.

We visited in October and one of the days was raining and really cold. We couldn't turn on the heating or the heated towel rail at any point during our stay. Was told at reception that the heating is not switched on until 1st November, until then only the air con is available. This is a high quality hotel and for the price you pay to stay there you really should be allowed to use the heating if you are cold - and use the towel rail to dry towels and swimsuits ( as the pool is open all year round). It would not stop me returning but maybe I'd book after 1st November.....

Excellent location - 9 minutes walk to Florence station and 20 to city centre - near banks of Arno River. Clean, comfortable, good facilities. Lovely buffet breakfast choices on rooftop restaurant with excellent views of cityscape.

Superb views and staff in a walkable location

Fantastic location - easily walkable to all the main attractions and near the river, but in a quiet part of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the bar and the roof terrace (gorgeous views). We had a triple room and there was more than enough space for the three of us. Beds and the shower were excellent.

Great Hotel for tourists in Florence

We were in Florence for 3 days as tourists. The Hotel Kraft was a great place to stay for several reasons. The best feature of the Hotel is the Rooftop Bar and Restaurant. We met friends staying at the Hotel on the Rooftop Bar every afternoon for cocktails. The staff is very friendly and the views of the city are amazing. Complimentary snacks are brought to the table each time we were there, and the drink menu and quality of drinks were outstanding. Breakfast is served at the same location every morning which was very good. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. You can easily walk to many dining choices and the shopping and tourist destinations are also within walking distance.

The English speaking choices on the television are limited to 3 news stations. It would be nice if the option to log in to the travelers own Netflix or other App based entertainment was an option.

Poor service and decor

The rooms were dated and shabby with small thin towels We left our car for valet parking and when we went to collect it they couldn’t find it for over an hour! They still charged us full price for the parking They tried to charge me for 5 drinks at the bar when I had had one We has to wait for a man to finish his cigarette before he could over to serve us in the bar! This hotel needs updating and the staff need training

A hidden gem

Hotel Kraft offers a big-city four star hotel experience in a relatively small hotel off the beaten track. Its staff are exceptional, and the rooftop restaurant is sublime. Our clean, quiet room had a little painted fresco on the ceiling, part of the attention to detail that is evident throughout. The rooftop pool is open until 9pm, and you can go up there (when it's open) when you like rather than having to book in. The view from the roof - a panorama of Florence - is, of course, absolutely stunning.

It's a shame that such a wonderful hotel is in such a grotty part of town. While not a complaint, the swimming pool is surprisingly small (though big enough for several people to enjoy it at once).

Another beautiful stay in Firenze! Great hotel!

The property was beautiful. About a 17 minute walk to the duomo which we really enjoyed. We loved our walk in and out of the centre and enjoyed being away from all the hustle and bustle. The rooms were spacious and nice and clean. Pool was good, just got very busy as we got extremely hot weather during our stay. All staff at the property were super friendly & helpful.

Beautiful,stylish hotel. We had a large room with balcony which was first class. Pool area was lovely to relax and cool off after sightseeing. Breakfast restaurant with roof top terrace was fabulous with amazing views. Room was immaculately clean and all staff were lovely.
