This place really needs to put up a sign that arriving guests can see. We had trouble finding the place even though our GPS had told us we had arrived. During the one day that we were there, two other couples approached us, asking us where the hotel was. One of them was driving up and down the street and the other actually knock on the door of our cottage, not realizing that they were actually already at the hotel. It turns out that there is actually a small sign on the side of the building, but it is partially obscured by vegetation. The cottage we were staying in was spacious and lovely, as were the grounds around the hotel. The room was rather hot and the small, portable air conditioner had trouble cooling it down. To find the hotel, I would suggest driving halfway up the road from the main street and look for two black doors on your right. One of the doors is large like a barn door while the other is small. There is a small parking area across the street. You enter the Hôtel courtyard through the small black door.

Because they have a 7 PM check in time and do not answer their phone if you want to let them know you are going to be late you cannot risk booking this hotel. I pointed out that they did not answer their phone on the night of my reservation and therefore should not charge me yet they charged the full amount. Do not book this hotel. Expedia should de-list this venue as they treat their customers very badly. I had to book another hotel for the night because I could not risk driving to Giverny and then not being able to check in. At least they should answer their phone so customers can let them know they will be late. Do not book this place unless you know you will be able to check in between 5-7 pm. And even then, how will you know they will be there since they don't answer their phone?

A little trouble finding the place, as our GPS was poor with directions and it was a little bit difficult to find. But it was beautiful when we arrived.
