Beautiful hotel and excellent location to visit monets gsrden

Bath hot water not very hot

The breakfast was especially lovely! It arrived in a country picnic basket and had everything that we had requested in it. We loved the styling of the room, as it had modern furnishings with an older countryside charm.

Not much that we didn't like, but dinner at the restaurant downstairs gave us some pause. Dinner was fantastic except for one of the last bites of a dessert course; we just couldn't understand the flavors in the bite and were disappointed that such an amazing meal could finish on such a low note. The dining experience was good too, though we question why the establishment chooses to have guests within earshot of the kitchen staff yelling "Yes, Chef!" every few minutes; hearing these subservient cries distracted and detracted from the meal.

Loved our room ... it was spacious and bed was big and amazingly comfortable. Coffee machine was good quality, complementary water and juice was welcome. The bath in the room was a real quirky luxury. The room was quite perfect and the fact we could leave the car in the car park after checkout improved the quality of our day. We really liked this hotel and would recommend.

It was warm, fan was great and room was cool enough to sleep. But in the morning, getting ready to go out, it was very warm. We knew that the restaurant wasn't open so not complaining about that but some service in the evening ... ability to buy a bottle of wine so we could sit in garden would have been welcome. We were tired and had to in search of evening respite. Not really a criticism.

Location good and pleasant rooms and garden. Very good dinner and good breakfast.

Lack of air conditioning in both bedrooms and restaurant a major problem. Room was extremely warm so as to make sleeping very difficult and restaurant was uncomfortably warm which spoiled an otherwise good experience. I would not stay again or eat in the restaurant in the summer unless these issues are addressed.
