Beautiful Hotel with comfortable rooms containing everything you could need. Really friendly helpful staff. Restaurant meals were superb with a great vibe.
Really missed the tasting menu that was on last year, the food was still exceptional though. Carrying bags up and down stairs is painful for me!

Location to Monets Gardens. Hotel grounds very good.
Head chef was very helpful and friendly. Parking at the hotel was very good.
Booked a superior double room. Very disappointed as it was small and in the attic. It was situated at the top of 2 steep stair case's. No windows in the room, just 2 small sky lights which when I opened one the view was a chimney stack. At €237 per night with no breakfast severely over priced.
The only alternative we could be offered was a standard double room which at least had a window, but was very small and you could hardly move in the bathroom as it was tiny.

Comfortable hotel, excellent staff and very convenient for Monet's Garden Excellent restaurant
Trying to manage water taps in shower and wash basin. Did not have warm shower and had to boil kettle to get hot water to shave. Also, poor lighting in room especially bathroom where I had to plug in bedside light to see.

Unfortunately we had a room on the top floor under the eaves and as it was very hot it was a little uncomfortable

Breakfast was wonderful and delicious. We also had a meal at the restaurant which was very unique and delicious
I wish our waitress was a little friendlier but that's fine because 2 other staff were very good. Perhaps it was a case of difficulty with language since we do not speak French.
Also wish there was air conditioning but I guess that is like most places in France.

Location and food was very good
Our room was on the top floor with only a small skylight for ventilation. We had a fan, but it was somewhat weak. The room was hot and stuffy. Staff was only mildly interested in our stay-not very friendly or attentive (they seemed a little overwhelmed.)

Outside was nice. Restaurant was ok.
The rooms were horrible. The stairs are dangerous. The heat on the top floor was unbearable.

Good Location, bedrooms, outdoor seating, showers & bathrooms.
No complaints about the property.
The staff was friendly & tried to be helpful.
However, our dining experience was less successful.
Although the actual food was good quality, there were problems related to our dinner.
We waited a long time for service.
— There were long periods between meals & when nobody checked in. For example, a plate would be left on the table so quickly, we didn’t have a moment to request anything.
— We were told there was gluten free bread.
Then we were told there was none.
Then much later, a waiter arrived with many loaves of gluten free bread which was lovely. But nobody told us that it was coming.
— At dessert, we made clear we wanted a gluten free & dairy free dessert so we all ordered strawberries with chocolate sauce - - a choice that the waitress offered. Then 2 of us received dessert with many forms of chocolate including mousse which my husband could not eat. There were no strawberries & no explanation of why.
—Finally, my husband was served what seemed to be (so quickly we couldn’t ask what it was) a lovely gluten/dairy free dessert, a great little cake. But no fruit & no explanation.
— Staff needs better training & communication skills.
Still, we had a great time.

This is a delightful hotel that is conveniently located and boasts a warm and engaging staff. The room was large, comfortable, and features a spacious shower and a commanding view of the surrounding countryside. On-site parking was very convenient.
Having arrived earlier than expected, we had time for a light, flavorful lunch overlooking the hotel's colorful garden.
Everything about our stay was a pleasure!

Dinner at the Restaurant. Friendly Staff. Location
Breakfast - too expensive for what was offered. Coffee in the thermos was tepid - but the waitress offered us a cup from the bar.

Location is wonderful ! Beautiful view out of the window. Very quiet in March.
Restaurant is overrated. Our meal was seriously so-so. Bread was stale and the main dish was over cooked. I would go elsewhere.

The location is ideal to visit Monet's Gardens and house. The hotels full of character and the staff exceptionally helpful.
The quirky (very low and subtle) lighting in the bathroom.

Location
Tiny room, low beams, staff very formal (kept asking us we were guests!), lighting in room very low/dim, especially in bathroom, not clean the under bed, very dusty.

We were pleasantly surprised with the location. Beautiful green hills in the background and from the bedroom window views. There was a lovely bath too!

The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant especially the young woman on reception on Tuesday morning . We had a problem with our first room and it was dealt with perfectly .
We arrived at Vernon at early evening and there was no transport available , which was quite disconcerting . I tried to ring the hotel but there was no answer . The owner of the bar opposite the station was very helpful but he was unable to get any help for us . Eventually a very kind person gave us a lift to the hotel

The location is ideal! we had an excellent breakfast and dinner in the hotel as well.
There were a few flies in our room and in the dining room that were bothersome but not a deal breaker.
