A beautiful place to stay at the heart of Giverny.

A wonderful spot to enjoy wondering in Giverny after the tours have gone home. Breakfast was wonderful sat outside and the fridge stocked with goodies for our stay was an added bonus- especially the homemade strawberry jam!

Perfect location at Giverny and a fabulous host

The place was wonderful. Everything we could possibly need or want was provided - cheese, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, milk. Veronique was a fabulous host. The morning pastries were delicious and the outdoor patio was a lovely place to relax. The location was perfect to walk to Monet’s gardens and restaurants. The ability to park our car onsite was a bonus.

The bedroom required climbing steps but we were aware of that when we booked.

The location was amazing; walking distance to both the gardens and good restaurants. Lovely house with everything you needed. Amazing breakfast and the host was excellent at service. I really didn’t want to leave.

Perfect place to stay if visiting Monet’s Garden

We had a great stay. Veronique is a wonderful friendly host. The accommodation is gorgeous. Perfect for two persons. Maybe a wee bit small for 3 or more. Breakfast was beautiful and to be able to sit out in the beautiful garden was idyllic and very fitting considering it is so close to Monets Garden.

It’s a little tricky to find how to get into the property. We could not have done it without Veronique’s help

Great place to stay in Giverny.

Everything. The location was chosen so we could be in Giverny to do the Monet house and gardens, it was on the crossroads along the Main Street a perfect spot to walk around and take in the area. The house was beautiful and we had use of a small terrace and part of the garden to ourselves. There was parking for the car inside a gated area. Veronica greeted us on our arrival with a warm welcome and showed us around the house, which was well equipped. The fridge was stocked with produce and fresh bread and patisseries were left each morning of our two night stay. It was very comfortable and clean and had a very good atmosphere, couldn’t fault anything. Would highly recommend a stay here if visiting Giverny. Thank you.

A little gem in the heat of Monet’s village

We loved everything about this gorgeous cottage superbly interior designed by Veronique. It was extremely clean, comfortable, every little detail thought of, and had the most amazing patio and garden in which to relax. Situated right in the centre of Giverny you really get a feel of how life was in this stunning little village once occupied by Monet and the Impressionists. It is very busy in the day but at night when the visitors from the cruise ships have gone, it is so peaceful!

Super friendly host. Parking next time the door in the centre of Giverny. Amazing location just Yards from Monet house and museum. A real privilege to be able to be in the village when everyone has left. Fantastic garden which we spent time sitting in. A wonderful experience

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

Location was superb. A short walk to the museum and Monet’s house and garden. Véronique was a fantastic host who delivered lovely fresh breakfasts each morning, complete with home prepared fruits/compotes. On a busy pedestrian street but very quiet after 6pm. A fully secluded garden to relax in was a bonus as was off road parking. Lots of local cafes and restaurants and a superb bakery (Au coin de Pain’tre) close by.

Nothing. The mezzanine sleeping arrangements were fine for us but maybe a little awkward for anyone with reduced mobility.

An absolutely perfect home base for experiencing the best of Giverny!

This property is truly special. Located in the heart of Giverny, just steps from the impressionist museum and not much further to Monet's majestic gardens, La Maison de Madame Baudy provides convenient access to everything! The host was warm and welcoming, and provided fresh pastries and baguette for breakfast every morning, along with stocking the pantry for our arrival with fresh fruit, butter, yogurt, eggs, coffee/tea, and other essentials. The yard/garden area was perfect for our family to while away a few hours, providing a relaxing, private spot to soak in the serenity of Giverny. Wonderful in every way!

A perfect relaxed place to stay while visiting the wonderful world of Monet's garden.

Fabulous location, through a door from the busy Rue Monet into a quiet garden and charming accommodation which was perfect for a comfortable stay. Our friendly host brought us a tasty breakfast in the morning, with croissants, bread and fresh fruit salad. A particular delight was sitting in the part of the garden reserved for guests, with birds singing and bees buzzing, such a contrast to the busy area around Monet's house and garden just a stone's throw away.

Lovely home and grounds but easy to miss a step. Plan for your own meals and food.

The location and hospitality were excellent. Veronique did her best to accompany me in my stay. Left bread in morning that was good and the house grounds were kept wonderfully. Beautifully done.

While there were many narrow steps to climb, it could not be helped based on the layout of the house. Carrying luggage two flights was arduous. While leaving bread and some fruit, it was not a "bed and breakfast" as advertised. Bread is not breakfast. Not much in refrigerator so I had to buy fruits and pastries. The coffee machines did not operate or I could not use as planned so I had to go elsewhere for coffee with my breakfast. The directions given were somewhat confusing. Veronique can do better for her guests.

Beautiful own house with kitchen and everything. Own part of the garden to use and own safe parking within the property gates. Super central location in 5 min walking distance to the Monet house and gardens. Delicious breakfast with fresh baguette and croissants from the local bakery each morning. Friendly, English-speaking hosts always available for questions and help. Can only recommend and would book again anytime!

It was such a privilege to stay in this perfect house in this perfect village.

Wow! What a gorgeous place in the heart of Giverney. The renovations on the little house are exceptional. The warmth of the welcome was peerless. There is absolutely nothing to criticise about the place. The stairs might be a bit of a challenge to somebody with mobility issues but that's just an observation. Lovely! Lovely! Lovely! And restaurant Baudy is a two minute amble away so what's not to love?!

Excellent séjour !

L'emplacement est exceptionnel, au coeur du village de Giverny, à 200m des jardins de Claude Monet. L'environnement est calme et paisible. La maisonnette dispose d'une jolie terrasse qui donne sur un charmant jardin. A l'intérieur de la maison, tout est pensé pour que nous nous sentions bien, avec des petites attentions partout, comme des fleurs fraîches, des livres, des jeux, des plaids douillets et plein de petits équipements utiles. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût et son aménagement est très astucieux. Le petit déjeûner est un régal, avec des produits locaux et maison, du pain frais et des viennoiseries livrés tous les matins devant la porte. L'accueil de Véronique est extrêmement chaleureux et souriant, avec plein de bons conseils. Et on peut en plus garer sa voiture sur place, en sécurité, sur l'allée du jardin. Bref, si vous souhaitez séjourner à Giverny, n'hésitez pas !

Superplek met fantastische historische waarde in Giverny, centraal gelegen op de hoek van Rue Claude Monet vlakbij de tuinen en huis van Monet. Smaakvol gedecoreerd als tiny house. Prachtige privé tuin en gezellig terras. Uistekende, toegankelijke en hartelijke service. Ontbijt uitstekend en prima geregeld en inclusief. We konden fietsen lenen. Parkeren op eigen afgesloten terrein.

Belangrijke zaken allemaal pico bello in orde. Klein onderhoud of vervanging nodig van spullen van Ikeakwaliteit, oa de blindering beneden en sommig keukengerei, maar heeft onze ervaring niet negatief beinvloed. Bij slecht weer heb je binnen weinig uitzicht, maar zit je wel mooi en comfortabel.

Herzlichste Gastgeberin mit persönlicher Zuwendung mit gemütlicher Einrichtung

Liebevoll gestaltete, komfortable Wohnung nebst idyllischen Gartenteil und viel Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberin. Sofort fühlten wir uns wohl. Das Frühstück mit tollen Croissants und Baguette, leckeren Marmeladen, täglichen frischen und mundgerechten Obstschalen, einen gefüllten Kühlschrank mit verschiedensten guten Lebensmitteln, die vielen Küchenutensilien und die Einrichtung sind umwerfend. Vielen lieben Dank. Die modernen Ventilatoren im Haus und die lauschige Terrasse halfen uns gut über die Hitze. Monets Garten und Haus ist ganz nah und unbeschreiblich schön - morgens oder zum späten Nachmittag hingehen, da sind es etwas weniger Menschen. 😊

Es war alles super, 100% Empfehlung. Einzig: Supermarkt erst in Vernon, doch Busse fahren in der Nähe regelmäßig ab. Tipp: Bahnfahrt in das entzückende Rouen von Vernon aus.

Super séjour ! Véronique est une hôte accueillante et aux petits soins ! Maison très chaleureuse et décorée avec goût, lits vraiment très confortables, localisation au cœur de Giverny mais sans bruit, jardin et terrasse privés. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner composé de produits frais de qualité déposés tous les matins. Nous recommandons plus que vivement !
