This is a quirky spot in a building where attention has been paid to every aspect of the design. The room was interesting and comfortable with the only slight downside being that the bathroom is separated by a curtain rather than a wall which is not to everyone’s taste. It’s in a great location in a stylish shop and cafe and an interesting, historic palazzo. I would definitely recommend

This place is outstanding! It’s immaculate and has a unique ancient/modern chic asthetic. But what really makes it stand out is the service. Both Marco and Ricardo act like your own personal concierge to help you with every detail of your stay.

Marco was an excellent manager. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We made our reservation one day ahead to avoid a train strike. Marco allowed early entry as well as extended checkout. And his local recommendations were superb.

Sugar Rooms has a delightful bar/cafe with delicious light fare, but you are steps to everything in the center of town. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless and the bathroom is zen. I especially loved the restrained decor which allows the original architecture to shine. The AC in the room was very cold and did not disappoint. If you are looking for a small town in Tuscany to explore or be your base, Arezzo and Sugar Rooms were a very pleasant surprise.
