Excellent base for exploring Arezzo and Tuscany.

Clean, comfortable, modern and spacious rooms with good choice of food for breakfast and drinks from the bar in the evening. Good secure well illuminated car park with plenty of space. All staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Welcoming staff, clean comfortable room with view of the town and mountains. Large free car park behind hotel, bar and restaurant on site and the town is just a 10 minute walk.

Great location to explore the old town

Comfortable room, spacious. Bathroom equally so. Breakfast buffet with many options. Hotel restaurant was moderately priced and had delicious food - highly recommend if you just want to relax in the hotel. The location was great for me. It was in the town, you felt like you were among locals instead of simply among tourists. Bakery, grocery store, and gelato nearby. Old town entrance is an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel, allowing you to explore without having to worry about driving or parking in the old city. Hotel parking is plentiful and free.

Two things to note: The soundproofing is not great. I could hear my neighbors TV through the wall, and patrons talking in the hallway. The fitness center is small, you need a reservation, and does not have much in there. The 3 cardio machines need some attention to get them moving smoothly. The free weights only go up to about 30 lbs. There were no wet wipes or any way to clean any of the equipment.

quick overnight in Arezzo in a quiet four star hotel

Staff caring of customers and professional. I was offered a free upgrade for the room. Very large double room, with plenty of space to set up suitcases and other stuff. Rich breakfast, with quality food. The performance/cost ratio is the highest in Arezzo.

Our ac didn't work. We were gone most of the day and it was somewhat cook so wasn't too bad. A bit of a walk to city center but not too bad. I would stay again

Lovely hotel Minerva

A lovely elegant building with a spacious lobby. The staff were all very helpful. The room was large and tidy with plenty of wardrobe space. The bed was quite comfortable. A 30 minute walk to the historical city centre. The breakfast room was well organised and the breakfast itself was fabulous with lots of choices for all tastes.

The bathroom was a bit on the small size with not much space for our toiletries.

Great stay overall.

Comfortable and very clean room, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. The hotel is not right in the center of Arezzo, but just a quick 20 min stroll from it. Very convenient.

The hotel is very modern. It offers a big parking lot right behind the hotel. Breakfast was nice although it could do with a greater selection of bread. The hotel is situated ideally for exploring Arezzo.

Decent stay

The staff at Hotel Minerva always seemed preoccupied, and not very helpful. One reception desk staffer even told me to come back later when I asked to settle my account - bec a big group was getting on their buses. I guess too much going on for him. To be honest, they all looked overworked and understaffed in general. Who could blame them for a poor attitude?

In the big restaurant downstairs the staff were pretentious and officious, particularly glaring to this solo woman traveler. I don't know who runs it, but the good food deserves a better atmosphere.

Surprisingly lovely!

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Quiet as well! The breakfast was delicious and there was also an amazing restaurant downstairs! The gym was also very good as well!

Hot, disappointing and no value-for-money. Ruined my day.

Private and free parking.

Air conditioning did not work at all, while the room was terribly hot. Reception staff told me to “open the windows”, which made no difference at all. The hotel in general is worn down and in dire need of remodeling. The bathroom facilities were clean, but very old-fashioned (80s?). The power sockets near the bed were loose, and the bathroom curtains were dirty. The room was street-facing, which was very noisy because of the windows needing to be open for the bloody heat. Breakfast was alright, with varied choice. The breakfast hall however, was a busy and noisy affair, with staff turning over tables all the time, and the barista knocking his coffee handle into the trash every 2 minutes. Hardly a peaceful start to the day…
