Enjoyable and very good value for money.
Good location within easy walking distance of the historic area and twenty minutes to the train and bus stations. Clean. Plenty of hot water. Very little traffic noise. The balcony was good for sitting in the sun . PAM, the supermarket next door.
There isn't a lift and there are 65 steps up to the flat which is on the fourth floor. This is not made clear in the property description. The owner/manager needs to inspect and maintain the property better than he does. The grip for the shower head in the shower was faulty so the shower head slumped when in it. Only one gas ring worked.in the hob. A shortage of cutlery. There was no washing machine as claimed in the property description.

Arezzo is a beautiful city from the duomo

Not great. Not terrible. And in my experience, the cost was 25% higher than it should have been.
I enjoyed interacting with some of the other guests.
(1) The shower curtain in the shared bathroom collapses all of the time. (2) The host did not have a paper map of the town to give to his new guests (and he was offended that I expected to receive one). [I’ve traveled all over the world, and 95% of the time the places in which I stay have maps of the town for their guests.] (3) The “free breakfast” was a disappointment: “Go to the bar 200 meters away and they will give you a coffee and a donut.” (4) The property seemed farther from the center of town than the “1 km” advertised. (4) And a small thing, the host had written the password for wi-fi on a blackboard in a way that was confusing to me and everybody else that was staying there. [When told about this, the host could not understand everyone’s confusion. When the various things that were confusing about it were pointed out, he argued that “it is perfectly clear”. And I’ll note that he had not changed it by the time I left.]
