This is a very basic hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable but it is a basic hotel. It does offer breakfast which is limited for an added 12 euro per person. The reception staff were helpful. There are ample free parking spots. The area is slightly further out from Manheim so it is useful to have a car if visiting as taxis are expensive. Otherwise a very basic hotel which provides a clean room but not a huge amount else.

Receptionist made check in experience very easy with fluent English. He was also friendly and helpful with local facilities and travel advice. This all made for a lovely experience and a great visit to the local brauhaus, which was within easy 15 minute walking distance (definitely walk and leave car at hotel). Sweets and toy duck for child were a lovely treat, thank you.

The cleanliness was poor. Unfortunately, the room smelled of smoke, likely because someone had smoked in the bathroom. Additionally, both the room and the building need maintenance.

Very out of the way, not easy access to heidelberg. Asked for extra pillows repeatedly and never recieved it. Nearby eating establishments all smokers joints. Especially noisy in mornings. Good cost for the quality.

The hotel is, different from the beautiful pictures, in an industrial area. So if you are looking for a nice view, the car dealership and parking lot. I’ve complained several times about terrible condition a quality of the mattress of room *48 but nobody felt responsible to change. Light in the room didn’t work. Reception was not occupied most of the time so no help from this side. Breakfast place was nice. Just the long Que for the one and only coffee machine was very long. If you are looking for Hilton quality, look elsewhere. If your expectations are not that high, this hotel is, although the previous comments, ok.

The WiFi had issues all week, the room was dirty and had bugs in it, the staff were rude and unhelpful (except for Sara), the breakfast was overpriced and had limited options. I will never stay there again.

Staff is nice but hotel is outdated. I paid for a 3 person room and hotel.com charged an extra fee for the third person. When I checked in, the hotel charged me an additional extra fee for the roll away bed for the third person - very upsetting

Good price,20 mins to Schwetzingen palace by foot, rewe and other supermarkets are nearby, the front view is lovely also the staff is friendly,overall experience is good,only the bathroom wasn't clean as expected and there was hair on the bed sheets.

I wouldn't take off points for anything. Unlike hotels in the U.S. their European counterparts do not have items such as irons/ironing boards or A/C in the rooms. They're location is walking distance from the main part of town as in a 20 minute walk. But the hotel is happy to call a cab for you. They have a nice breakfast buffet and there is a Chinese restaurant on the property which has a good lunch and dinner buffet. And there is a restaurant/bar mere steps outside the front entrance which stays open late. The area around the hotel is a commercial area but not in a bad way.

First room was a smoking room and smelled terrible. Changed us to a non-smoking room, which was better. Not sure why you still even have smoking rooms in this day, but that's Germany for you. Breakfast reviews were raving, but we found it to be barely worth the money and absolutely average quality with a small selection.

Lovely staff, big rooms and semi modern. Not the most comfy bed and awful pillows. But for the price it was decent. Close enough to walk to the old town/centre within 15 mins and the train station is 10min walk away too.
