one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. DO NOT GET THE DINNER OPTION. The low cost is tempting, its a highly rated resort and the breakfast is excellent. But the dinner was poor quality, food was cold and with few options. Huge disappointment. The other onsite (and off site) restaurants had fabulous food options and much nicer surroundings.

The room was spacious and clean with a wonderful view of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a lovely quiet area just a 20 minute bus ride to the old town. There were also plenty of outdoor pool options, although the weather prevented us trying them all. The breakfast buffet was not so great. Although there was a good selection of food on offer, the hot options were actually cold. The buffet area was also not big enough to accomodate the amount of guests, especially around the breakfast cereal, milk and tea and coffee machines. Overall though, my friend and I had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful hotel and resort with lovely, well-kept grounds. All staff were polite and friendly, rooms were bright, airy and modern and there were multiple pools to choose from so no fighting for a sun bed. The hotel is also right next to a bus stop so super easy to get into the Old Town.

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff who were very attentive. The beach area was lovely to get a decent breeze where as the higher pools were hotter. Easy to get taxi’s into town, or walking via the promenade into Lapad was great. An excellent range of restaurants at the hotel and locally. Would go again

Great hotel in lovely peaceful location, a 10 minute bus/taxi ride from Dubrovnik old town. Really very good facilities including a number of pools, easy access to a cordoned off area for sea swimming ( and jumping!). The Croatian coast is very picturesque with crystal clear water.

Great hotel in peaceful location. A 10 minute bus or taxi ride to Dubrovnik old town - definitely not walkable. Facilities at the hotel were very good with a number of pools and easy access to a cordoned off area for wild water swimming. There is a lovely easy coastal walk along a purpose built path with great views to Lapad where there are restaurants and shops. Hotel would benefit from having some water stations given the heat.

It was a bit challenging finding a room since we were on a trip with a group and the hotel denied several attempts by our group travel agent Gate1 to secure a room night, but through Hotels.com we booked and eventhough we had to move rooms since we had different room types, the experience was quite good overall and easy to get into Dubrovnik on the 6 bus.

Lovely hotel(s) right on the water. Lapad is a quiet neighborhood that gives off a tropical vibe. The entire Royal grounds is large and you can walk the water for two miles while passing plenty of restraints to stop and eat. The only grounds I will stay when visiting Dubrovnik

The property is great with excellent sea views and convenient coastal walkway to nearby restaurants and bars. Great spa facilities as well with the indoor pool particularly convenient for the cooler days. Breakfast is great and good options for dining. Upgrading to the dinner inclusive package is probably a good option as dining out is very expensive considering what you are actually getting.
