The hotel is spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, the room was bright and airy with modern decor. The location was great for visiting Dubrovnik the bus stop was local, staff were very helpful and there are plenty of option to eat nearby.

The hotel is lovely, in an old fashioned way. The rooms still have keys which can be a bit fiddley to work. The rooms were very clean, a good size, the hotel was quiet. Staff was lovely. Breakfast was a bit sparse for the cost but enough there to fill you up. Close to lots of restaurants, Sunset beach and a nice walking trail. Old town is a short bus ride away.

Centrally located. Great balcony with a wonderful view. Friendly staff. Only issue I had was I was on the 4th floor and the lift only went to the 3rd floor. As a female solo traveler I had trouble carrying my luggage up the flight of stairs.

I recently stayed at Hotel Perla for two nights after my United flight was canceled in Dubrovnik. I booked the hotel online, and nowhere did it mention that cabs cannot come directly to the hotel — you have to walk a bit since the road is closed for vehicles — or that the rooms required climbing a flight of stairs after taking the elevator. Since I went there around 9 AM, I dropped off my bags and went out. Upon returning around 4:30 PM, a different receptionist was at the front desk. She casually mentioned that I would need to take the elevator to the third floor and then carry my luggage up a flight of stairs to the fourth floor. When I explained that I have a bad back and couldn’t carry my suitcase, carry-on, and other belongings upstairs, she was dismissive and unhelpful. I politely requested a room on the third floor to avoid the stairs, but instead of showing understanding, she questioned me — saying things like “Don’t you take stairs when you travel?” — which felt unnecessarily confrontational. She told me I should have mentioned this on Orbitz, but I had no way of knowing stairs were involved before booking. After some back-and-forth, she eventually offered to send someone to carry my luggage — but by then, her tone had already made me feel as though I was being difficult rather than a guest in need of assistance. When I asked if there were other available rooms, she said there were but she could not move me, without offering any solutions.

The hotel was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. The room faced a wall and let almost no sunlight in (they do, however, different rooms with view at a higher price). The breakfast was good. The area around the hotel was great with a two-minute walk to the beach and restaurants right next to the hotel. The hotel itself also offers dining options in their restaurant. All good!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Perla with no issues at all. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and lovely beach two minutes walk away. Old town Dubrovnik ten minutes by taxi or bus. Highly recommended! Kev, Ali, Ellie & John

Basic Hotel. Would suggest few things to be improved : forbidden to take any food to rooms, yet there was a fridge. Who lives without water and snacks? Most of the time reception was unattended, no room key required for lifts - Hotel stated they are not responsible on thefts. Thus all went fine, got checking all right, drive to Airport. Get off at post stop after roundabout if arriving with bus nr 7 ( was hard to figure this)

Hotel Perla is a lovely hotel. Nicely situated in the pedestrian area of Lapad which is a great location to explore. The beach is 1min away, lots of restaurants to choose from and close to public transport links. The room was clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an okay stay. The room was fairly small with barely enough space to open our only bag. The towels were quite worn and even ripped on the edges. We were woken up by the hotel staff vacuuming the room next to ours around 8am. Breakfast was also okay, but nothing to brag about. There is a surcharge for parking (~€15) and limited availability, so call ahead of time if you need it. The space is at an underground garage nearby. It felt like the hotel lacks a professional manager that can pay attention to the things that matter for a guest to have a pleasant experience. That said, the reception and staff were nice and friendly, so really just a management issue. Overall we left with the feeling that Hotel Perla was not good value for money.

Perfect location to stay if you want to enjoy Dubrovnik. Tons of restaurants right outside, and quick walk to the beach. 10 minute taxi ride to the old town. I much rather stay at a location like Hotel Perla than in the chaos and busyness of the old town. My only critiques are the room doors and bathrooms a bit outdated, and the gym had no A/C.

Good location, near to the beach and the bus stop to the city center. Lots of restaurants in the same street. A few things that could be improved are the lightning in the bathroom that is really poor and the pressure of the water in the shower. Staff is lovely!

Located on a pedestrian street so had to park a couple minutes away, take our luggage to the hotel, then go back to the car and park in a garage 5 minutes walk away. The front desk told us the wrong place to park, but it all was corrected the next day. Luckily it was downhill to carry our luggage when we were leaving.

We had a wonderful time. The staff were outstanding, patiently making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is located in a great spot, along a walkway near the beach with lots of dining options. Transportation was just a short walk up to the roundabout. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Great location, 5 to 10 minutes stroll to the beach. Ten minutes in an Uber to the old town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Very clean, nicely decorated, with very good staff service. Ana, the receptionist was very helpful and efficient.
