This is a great hotel! I needed somewhere relatively close to the Indiana Convention Center for Jamfest Super Nationals (cheer competition). Hotels right next to it were charging anywhere from $400 to $700 per night. Price gouging at its finest. This hotel is less than 20 minutes from the convention center. It was quiet and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The mattresses in our room were brand new. The pool was also great! We will be staying here again!

The good ratings include the service at the breakfast. The server was very sweet and left the food out a bit longer for the stragglers. Also, for the most part, the place was relatively clean. I understand that they were under construction but it would have been nice to know that; it might have influenced our decision to stay there. The windows in our room were covered in plastic and there was nothing on the walls. It was very cold and sparse. Hopefully they’ll add carpeting and some warm colors to the hotel because it feels very institutional. The gal at the front desk said that it will be continuing until winter of 2026. When we checked in, the staff member was on the phone with someone inquiring about reservations and we had to wait for at least 7-8 minutes. Those types of calls should be diverted elsewhere! When my sister checked out this morning the staff member was on a personal call. My sister asked if she could just drop the key and the woman said that she was in the middle of a phone call. OK…. The rates were only slightly lower than nearby hotels so I wished I would have just paid the difference!

The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely eager to make sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Check-in was quick and smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised by how spotless and comfortable my room was. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were high-quality, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches—like complimentary water, a welcome note, and a perfectly stocked coffee station. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job throughout my stay. The amenities were top-notch. The pool and fitness center were clean and well-maintained, Breakfast was a particular highlight! What really stood out, though, was the staff’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality. Everyone I encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant team, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. A true five-star experience!

I tried to book for La Quita in Terre Haute. Expedia switched me to Indianapolis (which I did not notice), so when I tried to check in in Terre Haute, they had no reservation. The clerk found our reservation in the wrong city. I was able to get a room in Terre Haute (wonderful motel) and had to work toward getting the Indiana reservation refunded.

Hotel smelled of mold and chemicals. Mold was observed on the walls. If I hadn’t already booked and paid for it, would’ve stayed somewhere else. Staff was extremely friendly, hence not 1 Star. But they need to close the property until they resolve the mold issue.
