I liked the kitchen, the stainless steel appliances! The pool was nice, but a little cold. Gym was nice. It is a nice hotel, I mean it was literally just built so why wouldn’t it be?

I did not appreciate the front desk person on Sunday when I checked out. She had blonde hair and was not friendly at all. The computer in the lobby was frozen and my son knew that it needed unplugged and plugged back in and she came over and yelled at him. I did NOT appreciate that, or her. At all. I didn’t like how difficult it was to connect my son’s Xbox to the internet on the living room TV. When I called the front desk for help, she didn’t offer to come up and take a look. She finally came up because I specifically asked her to and all she told me was that they would need to call the internet provider. She should’ve known how to fix this problem. I work at a hotel, front desk and any one of our staff would’ve went to the room and at least attempted to try and fix the problem. Not just say, ‘well, I don’t know’. Unacceptable. Definitely could use better customer service at the desk, and also the breakfast lady. The only ones that actually spoke to me were the housekeepers and even though all they said was ‘Good morning’, it was still nicer than any other person there. I had my son and his friend with me (they’re 11 yrs old) and I could just feel it when they asked for an extra towel, or that more pool towels were needed, that they were super annoyed just by the look on their face. Again, NOT great customer service. The hotel is nice, but the staff—could use work. In my room, the shelf with the cups/mugs in them (and vases on the top shelf) were really dirty. You could see the rings from the glasses and there was a dirty cup. It was dusty. Not a big deal, but maybe wipe them down when cleaning the rooms. We, as guests, notice everything that’s not clean in the rooms. Maybe they should be checked better by housekeeping manager? Other than that, we had fun. Loved the pool and gym!

The staff when we checked in were amazing. The two ladies were both so friendly and welcoming. They offered help several times and made sure to acknowledge and speak with us each time we passed. The room was perfect for a sleepover birthday party. We had plenty of room, a great setup and everything we needed!

The pool was closed down the entire time we were there. It was part of the reason we booked the room. We weren't notified of the shutdown until we checked in. We had a neighbor call our room twice and come to our room once threatening to call the cops (not go to the front desk) because our group of four girls were being too loud. I understand noise issues, but it was also only 11 on a Saturday night and the only noise happening by that point was the TV.
