Hotel was great for what we needed. We stayed here on our last night before departing Florence. Close to the airport, friendly staff and a comfortable stay. Only negative is that if your goal is to be near the city center, it's about a 20 minute taxi ride away. No other complaints!

This hotel location was great for my 6am flight, but it offered limited walkable dining options. There were challenges finding Sunday dining and options between 4-7 pm. The hotel staff was great but room furniture was worn looking and hallway furniture was very dusty. The quick trip to the airport and the daytime front desk person were the highlights for me.

Loved everything about this place but the location. The area seemed more run down than the south eastern parts of Florence. That being said we didn’t really feel that unsafe. There were kids running around the neighborhood. Restaurants weren’t as accessible during the early dinner hours. It was closer to the airport though which is why we chose it, but next time we’d probably just stay in the more downtown Florence area.

Helpful staff. At check-in they arranged for an early room (12 pm local). Room was spotless. Location is 10 minute walk from Lucerne's historic area, although the streets are dirty away from the historic area. Overall a good stay. And the room is air conditioned! That made a difference in late June 2025 when there was a heat wave.

Well, I only was staying at the hotel for one night before I was departing from Florence, the staff was amazing. From the moment we checked in, they went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything needed for our very early departure, and even were so kind to make a cappuccino at oh-dark-30 before our cab ride. The staff was exceptional. The room was very clean, quiet and cool! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel Cosmopolitan was a perfect choice for my stay in Florence. Hotel was within walking distance to the Florence airport and that was very convenient for me. Staff was wonderful! Room was beautiful, quiet and comfortable. Was able to take my time with an extremely nice breakfast the morning I departed. Will definitely stay with them again! Thank you Hotel Cosmopolitan!

The front desk personnel were courteous, friendly and helpful. They arranged for our taxi rides to the center of town and for early morning pickup which went smoothly. Overall exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel which is 5 minutes to the airport.

This property is close to the airport, and therefore convenient for travelers. However, it is not near downtown Florence. Dining options are limited in the area. Overall the hotel seems nice and upgraded. However, all of the linen smelled like it had been stored near a kitchen. It was not fresh and smelled liked cooked food. So.e items were in need of repair in the room. The A/C ran all night yo try and cool the room. All easily fixed if adequate attention was given to the issues.

The hotel was exactly what we needed before our flight out of Florence the next day. We had an early flight out and had to drop off a car. By taxi, the airport is five minutes away.This hotel was perfect for that. Very well-maintained, super quiet, has a high-end feel, attentive staff, and a very comfortable bed. Staff spoke English. We did not notice good dining options around – except for a convenient little kiosk that sold pretty good sandwiches across the street. Our espresso maker did not work in our room; however, when we left in the morning, the nice man at the front desk was more than happy to make Espresso for us before our taxi arrived. We would stay here again before flying out of the airport.
