My wife and I have stayed here countless times. It's so close to the beach and downtown Pismo. Many of the rooms have a view of the ocean and they have a nice breakfast to start your day. The rioms are clean and up to date. Just a great place to stay.

We loved the view, beach access, fire pits, etc. The first room was supposed to be a log ocean view but all we could see was the construction fence around the pool which was closed for maintenance. I asked for another and it was better but was right next to the outdoor eating area so people walked right through our little patio to get there. Other guests got $10 credit for various amenities which were not offered to us. Bottom line: I felt like a second class citizen and figured it was because we booked through Hotels.com vs directly ☹️

Housekeeping was available upon request, which may not suit everyone’s preferences. The main disappointment was the breakfast — the quality and variety were well below expectations for this type of property, and several items seemed neither fresh nor thoughtfully prepared. Overall, it’s a comfortable place with great surroundings, though the breakfast experience could benefit from significant improvement.

The beach view was beautiful and breathtaking. If you're looking for peace and serenity ✨️ 😌 this is it. The parking lot had construction on the pavement because it was blocked off with a black tarp so we couldn't park next to our room so that was the downside. I think the continental breakfast is made just for kids only not for adults. Not a hearty breakfast just enough to get by.

Room #131.. No weather strip for the front room door... app. 1- 1 1/2" gap from floor to door... not good.. shower water pressure could have been better... Staff at check out gave every guest all of the details of the place except for me. Not sure why. Maybe got distracted or forgot. The water pressure in the shower was horrible. And housekeeping never came to my room. The fridge one night started making the worst noise that kept waking me up which sucked being that I was there for work and had to be up early. Other wise, the room was very nice. And the view was beautiful

I booked through Hotels.com. The room said King size Ocean view and oceanfront. It was not and the hotel said it does not book the ocean front rooms through hotels.com. Sure enough that room had been removed. I paid more to move to an ocean front room. The bask and brew restaurant has excellent food and service. The room was a bait and switch and I cannot trust hotel.com to give me what I pay for in the future. The ocean front room was excellent. The water pressure was ridiculous - it bare drizzled out and actually stopped completely. The maintenance guy came and took the filter out of the spout and it worked fine.
