The location next to the beach is nice

In room coffee maker did not work. Vending machine for snack was stocked in a way that products did not dispense. I lost money. Mediocre "continental breakfast" was not available until 0700.

Beachside during storm

Close the water, how much space the room had, can walk down town. I like that they actually had cable it was stormy so kids watched TV. They had light breakfast and cookies. Staff was really night. And the fact it backs into the beach is nice

There is no way it was a queen size bed if it was it was irregular my partner and I have a queen and we could not fit on the one in the room and his feet hung off. The description stated standard beds but not size front desk stated queen. The remote died in middle of the night I was going to swap batteries but they are screwed in. The bathroom was really rusted.

All in all it was a decent sta accommodating, family friendly with great location.

Location wise it was great , right by the beach and pismo pier shops and eateries. Walk out of your room door and you can see the ocean. Staff were friendly and accommodating to requests in a timely manner no questions asked.

Breakfast was just eh , not too much . Some pastries, oatmeal, banana and oranges more on the go type of breakfast nothing to really fill up on before you leave for the day. Rooms could use some TLC and updating but for the location and price compared to others around it made sense.

Relaxing and fun

Great location! Close to the beach and downtown. It is the off season, so it was very quiet. We had a great room with a balcony and view of the water. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will be recommending!

Loud and annoying.

I liked the location and staff was friendly the one time we interacted at check in.

Neighbors were loud. Front door stuck really badly, as if it was recently painted. Made everytime we went in and out hard. Wasn't as clean as other times ive spent there, but smelled really clean. No carpet in room so sand got on bed easily. Overall just not as nice as other stay at Edgewater Inn.

Great location to the beach and downtown.

The room was spacious. But we got a sofa bed and the mattress is paper thin. Luckily I had an air mattress in my trunk from a previous trip and we had to use that. The pool says it’s heated but the water was still very cold.

My kids became sick after our one night stay. The hotel was old maybe they will consider to check for molds as it is a hazard for us customers. They also placed us on the other side of the building which prohibits us to get easy access to the beach. No consideration at all

Our stay at the Edgewater Inn and Suites

The staff was wonderful. They were kind, respectful, courteous, and professional. The rooms were amazingly comfortable and clean. We weren't right on the beach, but we only walked a few feet sat on a wall, and we were able to look down on the beach. There were steps leading down to the beach. We had a great time.

The rooms could use a little updating. A couple of the walls in the bathroom need some repair. Minor cosmetics.

Unfortunately, we had problems with our toilet in our room . In the morning, I expressed the concern and the front desk receptionist responded with a very negative and upsetting response saying that there was nothing they could do about it due to the fact that I booked with the third-party and if I needed to use the restroom before we checked out we could use the restroom in the lobby. I expressed my concerns to the manager named Robert later on that morning And he said he was going to take care of the room for us and if we had any more problems that he would take care of it moving forward, but nothing was done

Overall I was happy with my stay and only disappointed on the last day because of the insect.

I was very happy with the location. I was very close to the beach and walking to the downtown area was convenient and easy. My standard suite with kitchenette was large, well stocked with utensils and felt like a small home away from home. The pool and hot tub were clean and the towel service was a nice perk.

The furniture in the living area was old, badly stained, and clearly in need of some cleaning or replacement. I was very disappointed on the last day of my stay when I went to bathroom first thing in the morning and there was a small roach on the sink. It caught me by surprise and I was able to kill it, but it left a negative impression on me and my opinion of the establishment, however I'm willing to book another stay to give the place a chance to change my impressions.
