Love the atmosphere and location - but some employees were rude.

I encountered a bartender that doesn’t like her job, she did a horrible job making my drink and then tried to fix the existing one by just pouring more alcohol on top. When I received my receipt upon checkout the hotel was trying to charge me the tourism tax and resort fee that was already paid when I paid booking.com and when I expressed this to her she became very rude and said she doesn’t know why it would say that but said she’d waive the fees as a courtesy - she continuously cut me off when speaking and was extremely rude.

Clean and modern room. Nice dinning facility. Good food.

We requested an accessible room and got one, how ever the bed was so low to the floor it was extremely difficult to get out of the bed. The distance from the top of the bed frame to the top of the mattress was only about two inches and sank down to less than that when trying to get out. This caused the bed frame (wooden with sharp edge) to put too much pressure on the legs resulting in a lot of pain and some bruising. The room seem to be designed to force you out. For instance it would be nice to have a small table and two chairs for playing cards or eating a snack. There was only one comfortable chair and one straight back chair (uncomfortable) so if two people want to watch TV one needs to use the bed.

Horrible

The location is right on the beach

The first time we stayed, the room was dirty, and blood on the sheets, the patio door was broken. The second time they put us in an accessible handicap room, the beds were low to the ground, and the wooden bed rails hurt, getting in and out of bed. It was very uncomfortable Check-in was at 4 we didn't get our room till 5 and never got any compensation. Not sure we will go back. it is so expensive to have all those things happen

Horrendous and incredibly bad value for money

Not very much at all I’m afraid.

The food was the worst we’ve experienced in the US by some distance. The room was small. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable my kids couldn’t sleep. $1100 for one night - an absolute rip off. And the location was a total waste of time.

Not worth the price

Hotel is awesome, and has great amenities. The location is amazing, walking distance to everything!

Our room was located on the third floor on the north side next to the parking lot. Every morning we were awoken at 5:00 with trash pick-ups and hotel deliveries. This last 1 -2 hours. There was not a day where we were able to sleep in. Also, they have great outdoor seating with firepits but they are open to the public. This made it very difficult to find seating. Not sure why a resort fee paying customer has to compete with a non resort fee paying person not staying at the hotel.

It was the perfect getaway;🌻

The staff was very helpful and kind. The pool and spa were the perfect way to relax in the California sun right next to the beach. Everything was walking distance. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect.

We reserved four rooms for our large family and expected a level of service and accommodation consistent with the premium rates we paid. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of that expectation. To begin with, we were checked in significantly later than the standard time, causing undue stress and disruption to our plans. When we were finally able to access our rooms, the quality and condition of the accommodations were sub-par, particularly for the price point. One of the rooms—specifically the Finley room—had a front door that slammed shut every time it was used, and the bathroom door was broken, compromising privacy and convenience. We were also told that we would receive a late check-out to accommodate the delayed check-in, but this was never honored or communicated properly to your staff. This added further inconvenience to what was already a frustrating experience.

Wait staff was wonderful. A little short staffed but they worked their tails off.

I didn’t like the music starting at 7 every morning. Our rooms were on the inside pool area and we liked leaving our door open for the ocean sound but when 7am rolled around we’d have to get up and shut the door. Kinda ruined sleeping in in the morning.

We’ve stayed here quite a few times and it used to be about $400 per night now it’s up to $600 per night - the rooms are super small not even a table to put a tray on for room service - you need to eat sitting on the bed or on the balcony - which is extremely small (my husband is 6’4” and when he sits on the balcony his knees don’t even fit because there’s not enough room in front of the chairs - in the room we’ve always had the problem of lights flickering off and on (haunted or needs maintenance) and the coffee makers don’t always work - this time ours was broken and have had this problem in the past. Honestly don’t think we will revisit

A beautiful hotel to enjoy the 4 July celebrations.

Loved the central location. The hotel was beautifully appointed.

Booked for dinner but then the kitchen couldn't honour the booking as the restaurant had neen so busy being 4 July. But the restaurant host allowed us to order in the pizza and eat that in the bar area which was fine.

While having prepaid the room 4 weeks in advance, and with clear request of connecting or close by rooms, they still didn’t manage to organise this simple request. Only valet parking with additional fees Fitness centre extremely basic and not inviting to try it out Pismo beach is a pretty cold place with almost no sun, be prepared. We didn’t like it coming from Santa Monica and Santa Barbara.

We loved the heated pool facing beach, the outdoor bar and food, the fire pits, and outdoor movie night. They also had bikes, beach toys, and fishing gear to use on pier. Valet parking was great and hotel was clean.

The view from our room was the hotel roof next door literally 2 ft away from our room. The dinner menu at restaurant needs to be changed. The restaurant was empty more of a bar than restaurant. I am a foodie and the dinner menu was very disappointing. The few pieces of steak and 3 asparagus spears, not a great presentation or portion size. A bread basket would be nice. I don’t mind paying high prices if the quality was there. Would love to see breakfast buffet for families staying at resort. We would have eaten more meals there if they had something good to offer.
